Reviews Summary
This summary was created by AI, based on recent reviews.
Powered by AI
Hotel Perla Marina garners positive feedback for its impeccable cleanliness and prime beachfront location that guests frequently laud for its proximity to both the beach and town center. While the rooms are praised for their cleanliness, they are often described as dated, and the annex location and views have not met everyone's expectations. The hotel's Spanish style creates a pleasant atmosphere for some, though others find the decor lacks vibrancy. The amenities, including sea-facing views and pools, are well-liked, but some visitors note they can feel overcrowded and outdated. While service is generally commended for being friendly, there have been mentions of occasional slow or unhelpful responses. Opinions on value are divided; some guests find the hotel to be a good deal, especially given its location, while others feel that the hotel's facilities do not justify the cost.

My husband, daughter and teenage granddaughter had a lovely week in this hotel. All staff were pleasant and helpful. The housekeeping staff did a sterling job nothing was to much trouble for them. I especially enjoyed being so close to the beach, the rooftop pool and the views from it. Unfortunately, we were not lucky with the weather which put a slight damper on the holiday. (We did take the essential portable kettle with us) I would recommend a holiday at Hotel Perla Marine.

Lovely 3 week stay. Very Clean hotel and friendly staff located right on the seafront close to several restaurants and small supermarkets. Hotel room needed more electric sockets but we managed. Shame about Mr Happy on reception when we checked out ☹️

The rooms are very old fashioned and no plug sockets at the bedside tables, only low down on the floor. Bathroom not well lit and like the bedroom needs complete refurbishment. There is no soundproofing between rooms so could hear everything that was going on either side and above. Had one breakfast, selection was good but hot food was cold. Left the hotel early and checked in at another one.

Lovely seaview from the balcony, good choice at breakfast, fridge in room, nice cafe next to the pool with a good choice on the menu and open all day until night time. It's about a 15 min walk to the Balcon de Europa but nearby there are a few nice restaurants which are quieter overall. However, on arrival, it took too long to check in as there was only one person serving on reception and someone holding up the queue because he decided to complain about his room at 10.30 at night! A duty manager should have dealt with that person and allowed the receptionist to check in the people in the queue! There was no plug socket near the bed and only 2 sockets in the room that I could use for charging. The ddouble bed only had one long pillow, which was uncomfortable.

Some other reviews about this hotel are unfounded! It’s a lovely hotel, yes a bit dated but clean! Staff are very helpful! Breakfast is brill! Two pools and right on the sea! There is only one plug socket by the beds, but realistically why can’t people pack properly! Lovely stay and would recommend.

Nice hotel, rooms are a bit dated but would stay again. The pool area is quite small and gets packed very quickly, the rooftop pool is nice but could do with a bar of some sort up there. The outdoor restaurant was nice but one night we did see a mouse there so we moved indoors fairly quickly.

The location of this hotel is good. Right on the beach.A very quiet and peaceful stay. But unfortunately the room was awful. No natural light and was like a coffin. Only one socket to charge all phones, fitbit, airpods etc. It was a double room with 2 beds. Very little storage and nowhere to hang wet towels swimsuits etc. The breakfast was poor. Coffee was cold from the machine. Bread was stale. But, the pool was great but small. We stayed for 5 days and was plenty. It is an old fashioned hotel but clean and staff were lovely. Good restaurant with lots of choices on the menu. We loved sitting by the sea soaking up the sun. Enjoying a wine or two!

Good value hotel in great location next to beach with views across the coast. Spacious rooms, very clean, breakfast fine with lots of choice. Pools small but nice with roof top sunbathing. Downside is that rooms are dated and most rooms arent in the hotel, instead they are in anexe across a quiet road so your sea view is actually across a quiet road, then over low rise apartments, then the sea - not what I was expecting. Surprised that the hotel were renting out rooms when under going external maintenance, photos show thiis, definitely not what I was expecting.

The Hotel was not the one advertsised on booking.com...which we thought we were booking into. That hotel was dated, but the thing that was the worst was that it had fleas...well our room did...and I wanted to leave after the first night, but we stuck it out the 2nd night, but was gone as soon as possible...It would not be a hotel I would go back to after this experience...
