We have just returned from our 11 day holiday at the Yaramar. This was our 6th visit and despite other reviewers comments we do not see any drop in standards. We agree that some areas are beginning to show their age but the whole hotel is kept very clean, everything works and the style of decoration is a matter of... More

At the Yaramar you will be looked after by a caring friendly team of people who want you to enjoy your holiday. Nothing is too much trouble. The location is perfect just outside Fuengurola, near the local railway station so you can look around the area easily with frequent and comfortable travel.

Just back from a very good 11 day break with wonderful weather staying at the Yaramar. Hotel is looking a little tired for a Thomson Gold and in need of some tlc but again the position on seafront and lovely Staff make it worth a visit, take a coffee into lounge off the dining room after breakfast which has wonderful... We have had many happy holidays in Fuengirola at the Yaramar's sister hotel, the Angela but decided to have a break from Spain. After four year we decided to return to the Yaramar. We were not disappointed and had a really enjoyable three week break. On arrival we were greeted by the friendly reception staff who advised that we had... More

First, a general caveat. In conversations with several returning guests during our stay, they commented on the lines that the standards of the hotel had fallen considerably, even just in the past three or four months. I can not comment on this either way, as this was our first stay; but researchers would perhaps be wise to concentrate on a... More

We had a lovely holiday at the Yaramar, we have been a few times before. However there were a few things which could do with improving. The entertainment in the lounge area has been changed from chairs and tables to sofas at the far end of the room. This is totally impractical as people have their back to the entertainment... More

All you could want is available here. The beach is just across the road with sunbeds, six inch thick mattresses, windbreaks and parasols. When we paid for the sunbed, as a hotel guest we were given a free glass of sangria. Also the beach bar serves 2 for the price of 1 drinks and tapas 12 to 1 for guests.... More

Just returned from a two week break at the Yaramar and we are already talking about going back yet again. What can we say that hasn't already been said? Nice rooms, a wide selection of good food and wonderful staff. A great location right on the front so you can enjoy walks by the sea (at least two miles in... More

Forget any negative nit-picking reviews,we and everyone we spoke to had a lovely stay at the Yaramar. Food was very good, grilled fresh to your liking if you wished. The hotel staff were first class, and very friendly. The 'loud' entertainment finished at 11pm,hardly late to disturb anyone! Drinks in the bar were great value in the nightly happy hour. Definitely going back.

Just returned from the Yaramar, visited with my mother who has stayed 3 times before. Definitely ready for a reburb as very tired. Food was pretty awful, the soup tasted the same every night, food was cold and tasteless. The entertainment was very loud and we were unable to get to sleep until it stopped. Mirrors cracked and threadbare blankets.... More
