This is one of the better 4 star hotels in the area based on my experience of staying regularly for years in hotels on the spanish Costas. A large hotel, it is very central to all of the City's facilities whether you are looking for beaches, bars, shops or travel into Andalucia as the trains and buses are just around... more

We returned to Las Plmeras once again. Staff at Reception were once again friendly andhad my email request for a poll or sea wiew, which we got. It is always apleasure to return to the Hotel and meet our friends who stay there on a regular basis. The bar staff are fantastic wth us but that may be because we can... more

This is a typical 4* holiday hotel. The rooms are large and clean, but without tea-making facilities or fridge. Food in the dining room was of good quality although with a limited choice. Bar staff very friendly. Some noise at night from discos over the road, even-numbered rooms would be quieter on other side of hotel. If you have a... more

During October 2008 i along with 32 friends stayed at the Las Palmeras Hotel on a 1 week golf break. Five members of the party experienced SECURITY PROBLEMS having belongings taken from the rooms. There was no sign of forced entry. The response from the hotel reception was objective and unhelpful. more

I have just returned from a weeks stay in the Las Palmeras Hotel in Fuengirola Spain. Having travelled extensively in Europe and USA, and stayed in 3, 4, and 5 Star Hotels on my travels, I am passing on some observations about my stay in Fuengirola. This hotel, although assigned a four star rating, is in my opinion a high two... more

A mixed party of 33 poeple spent a week at the hotel. Several incidents of thefts from rooms in which the management had no interest, threatening victims with eviction. The hotel is directly opposite busy bars wich stay open very late so a room overlooking the swimming pool is essential for a good nights sleep. Beware when walking back late... more

After reading the reviews, I was a bit uncertain about what we would find. For our purposes, this hotel suited our needs well. The room was very spacious, very clean and the air conditioning was excellent. The room decor was just fine and the bathroom was nice, good water pressure. We requested a quiet room and only had one night... more

We have stayed at this hotel several times over the past four years. It's location is great, right on the seafront, opposite the marina. The downside is that close by are several noisy bars that stay open very very late. To minimise disturbance I always call the hotel on the day of our arrival to request a room on the swimming... more
