Positive aspects: - Beautiful garden - Amazing view - Breakfast with fresh fruit - Hospitality Negative aspects: - Location ('the island' is a good name, it is far from everything (at least 15 minutes to walk to the beach and not the few minutes as described on the website) and besides that we hated Fuengirola, it is an outdated English... Just returned from a lovely 3 night break with my husband. Las Islas was recommended to us by friends who visited a couple of years ago. It is not the easiest place to locate in a taxi but is well worth it when you arrive. We were greeted with a welcome drink by Jose and immediately felt relaxed in such... More

Having just bought a house right by the restaurant I popped into las islas to have a look. Beautiful place and setting with a lovely restaurant by the pool. However I was told there is no bar in the evening, only restaurant and wasnt offered a drink at one of many empty tables inside and out. A shame really as... More

My husband an I spent 5 nights in this hotel, and I cannot say enough to demonstrate how fantastic our hosts and staff treated us. The service was out-standing from the minute we arrived to the minute we left. The hotel has 12 rooms in all and we were lucky to have Room No. 8 which has a little extra... More

Husband & I have just returned from a fabulous long weekend at this amazing boutique hotel. Omar is one of the most friendliest person we have ever met. He made us feel so welcome & nothing was too much trouble for him, or his staff. The hotel itself was stunning, & everything you could think of was provided. The pool... More

So hard to believe that you can return to somewhere special and the magic is still there. We were picked up from the station and on arrival Omar was waiting to welcome us 'home'. We felt the relaxation beginning right away. This is a truly amazing secret hideaway ! Norman and Christine

My boyfriend and I stayed at Las Islas for a short-break in August. Words do not do it justice, it is such a wonderful place. The drive up is led by beautiful signs up windy roads, like a treasure hunt. When you arrive the first thing that hits you is the stunning greenery, ivy growing up the walls and hanging... More

We were staying in the hotel owner's villa in torremulle and decided to have Sunday lunch at their hotel. The hotel itself is a calm oasis and we were greeted like family by Omar and Muna. The Sunday meal was one of the best I have had and thoroughly recommend the mezza washed down with several bottles of good wine.

From the moment we arrived until we departed this oasis of calm 4 days later we had nothing but positive thoughts and feelings towards this small but perfect holiday location just 30km from Malaga Airport. Omar, his family and his staff have put their heart and soul into ensuring the small details are addressed. The reson d'être of this hotel... More
