Rooms were very comfortable, food was excellent (in fact it was the best of all the paradors we visited), service very good. The reason why I did not give it an "excellent" rating is that the swimming pool was empty although it was very hot and the lovely lawn near the pool had no chairs, ceckchairs or beds to rest.... Do not imagine that the Parador de Cazorla is in the town of the same name - it is named for the National Park in which it sits. When planning your journey, bear in mind that once you have reached the town you still have upwards of an hour to go. The town of Cazorla marks an abrupt change of... More

We can not thank the staff at this Parador enough for all their help and kindness. The hotel is a former hunting lodge and you need to bear this in mind and there is a rustic charm that, in our opinion, adds to the experience. The hotel is in an isolated location and is set in a stunningly beautiful national... More

We were visiting Paradors in the area and decided this was one not to be missed because of its unique location, in the middle of nowhere. The drive from Ubeda to Cazorla was to say the least interesting, but from Cazorla so many hairpin bends, narrow roads and if you don't have a head for heights, or suffer from motion... More

Advertised very honestly as a 3 star, but the surrounding area, the altitude, the vegetation, the roads to get there, the fauna, the birth of the Guadalquivir( ¨the great river ¨), the quietness of the place, the sierra itself all of this contributes to give this Parador its 4.5th star.Simple butlarge well groomed rooms with pleasant colors. Staff is very nice, specially if you can manage to... More

The setting, amongst the mountains of the National Park, is just wonderful. And the hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. The food was first rate as was our room. We had a great time in the hotel and driving round (the wiggly) roads in the park. Spain as different from the costas as could be.

After years of thinking about it, we eventually made it to Sierra de Cazorla. We liked everything about hotel. Sitting on the terrace, after breakfast, lunchtime, evening, all the time was so beautiful. We stayed early October, weather still good, autumn colours everywhere. We walked two full days and we loved it. The walk to Gilillo was really memorable. Breakfast... More

We booked through Keytel in UK 6 months prior to our visit. On arrival, we were advised by reception that Keytel had been advised (but we had not been) that virtually the entire hotel had been taken over for a wedding. Although we managed a quick dip in the pool, the ceremony was right next to it so we didn't... More

Bit of a trek to reach the Parador but well worth the effort. The room was great with its mountain view. We loved all the food and without exception the staff were lovely. The icing on the cake was the night sky when it was clear enough to see the stars and to top it all - the calling of... More

We spent three nights here in September 2014, booked into room 12 - a double with sitting room and balcony. The room itself was great - lots of polished dark wood, comfortable bed and sofa. Amazing view over the valley and up to the mountains beyond from the window. Restaurant is huge and the food was pretty good. There is... More
