This was heaven on this hot day ! A gorgeous hotel, straight from another century. The rooms were gorgeous and the period the bathrooms, nice and large. The breakfast in the patio was the cherry on the cake !

The little patios around this hotel are beautiful, and the location in the old centre is very good, and the staff are efficient and friendly. The rooms are average, and the breakfast was very basic "continental". Some rooms don't have a separate shower, but offer a bath with a shower hose. The rates are low but are only set at the... More

Lovely period hotel, built around its courtyards, which creates cool, shady spaces. We had a large characterful room with and a huge bathroom. Breakfast room looked very nice although we prefer to breakfast with the locals so ventured out to a café. Parking just outside on street. Not masses of facilities but a welcoming relaxing place with helpful staff. Quiet... More

This hotel is extremely beautiful!!! The hotel with it's three interior patios are an oasis of rest and relaxation. An excellent example of Andalusian living and hospitality with a five star service, but a three star price. Our room had a window view of the first patio, so we had the wonderful sounds from the fountain as well as the... More

We entered Carmona on a rainy Sunday in May and driving through the narrow streets of the old town we had passed the entrance of the hotel at least 4 times before we discovered it a bit hidden away. The building is historic, very well maintained and interesting. We had a reservation for a room and were destined to a... More

We booked what had been described as a suite at this hotel but when we finally arrived, we were presented with a large room with an en-suite bathroom. The negatives of our stay included:- No plug in the washbasin The bedroom smelled of smoke from the open unlit fireplace The lighting in the room was rather dim and The television... More

This is for those of you out there who are looking for "Boutique Hotel / Parador" quality for a very cheap rate. This hotel is a small gem, thus a bit hard to find. However, once you get there, you won´t regret it! The place is charming, the rooms are spotless and tastefully decorated and the service is stellar. You... More

After great difficulty we finally located this hotel. It is easier to follow signs for Hotels rather than try to find street (calle) signs on walls, plus, this hotel isn't easily seen unless you get out and walk the street which we did. We were able to park in the front of a hotel around the corner called Alcazar de la... More

On our way to Sevilla, my husband and I decided to stay in Carmona, a historic town overlooking the gorgeous plain. We chose to stay at El Rincon de las Descalzas, a beautiful boutique hotel right in the city center for ease of exploring this beautiful city. We were not disappointed. The hotel is full of beautiful rooms overlooking small... More

My wife being both the planner of this holiday and the driver of our rented vehicle decided to heed the urgent advice of tourist guides not to enter Sevilla by car, and chose this hotel in near-by Carmona as a point of departure for our expedition to Sevilla by taking a bus (yes, this is a long sentence). Carmona is... More
