Carmona is a pretty little town and the Parador is situated on the edge of the town with amazing far reaching views over the surrounding countryside. Our room and bathroom were spacious and furnished in a traditional style. We enjoyed the wonderful views from our balcony. it was worth the expense just to have that view! The swimming pool looked... Although this parador is a bit out of the way from the usual tourist stops we loved it. The views were breath taking and the whole experience brought relaxation to a weary travel group. The breakfast was lovely. If you need WI-FI you have to work hard at finding the right spot in the lobby but everyone needs a break... More

Hotel is hidden behind a fortress wall, but magical and dramatic entrance to modern (1976) hotel. Completed in 1992 I believe, but you would not know it for ambiance. Majestic location above fertile plain. Decorating was extremely attractive in public areas. Although, the prettiest room was usually locked. Goats were being herded below to different fields and then led back... More

The hotel is straightforward to find - well signposted. As you drive through the historic gateway into the courtyard / car park you feel you've come somewhere special. The rooms were beautiful with fabulous views across the plains - you're so high up. There is a lovely mosaic tiled courtyard with a fountain where you can sit and have a... More

Great hotel, lovely restaurant stunning views of countryside in a really historic town. The restaurant was great and good value - pity the service in the bar beforehand was poor. Reception staff were very helpful. Great place to stay if you don't want to be in the middle of Seville which only took us 40 mins by car to the... More

Every day I would remind the front desk staff to smile and welcome the incoming guest. If I'm paying a s@@tload of money for a room I don't expect to be standing at reception on check in wondering it I'm wearing an invisibility cloak. If it wasn't for the outstanding surroundings (isn't this exactly what you expect from a parador?)... More

We arrived at the Parador in the evening and just followed the signs through the town. We were directed through some narrow one way streets and then suddenly you arrive at the castle gate and we parked outside until we realized that you can drive through and park in the courtyard inside the walls which was lots of fun. The... More

The Parador is at the top of the town - not too difficult to find though you have to drive through a few narrow streets to get to it. You also feel as if you need to breathe in as you go through the gates - a very tight squeeze if you have a large car - but there's plenty... More

We spent a night here primarily for it's proximity to Saville and easy transport to central Seville. Carmona is a typical rural Spanish village and the Parador is a walled hotel that looks like a 16th century fortris from the outside but is a totally modern inside. The parking is in the front coble stone courtyard. The restaurant serves a... More

Once in Carmona, you cannot miss the Parador but there is no way round the narrow lanes of the beautiful town of Carmona. Always take to road upwards and the only place you can get to is the Parador (that is also well signposted). Once there, you can really drive through the old gateway, as inside there is a spacious...
