Excelent value. Nice rooms in a wonderful building. Great tapas bar with cold beer and a good selection of tapas and raciones, all well presented and tasty. The pool is a major plus and makes the finishing touch to one of the best hotels i have stayed in. Carmona also is an interesting town to visit without doubt a classic... More

I've been to Alcazar de la Reina two times for scientific conferences. The hotel is quite nice, with a very welcomed swimming pool to low the Andalusian heat. Breakfast was OK, it's very quiet and the rooms are big and with air conditioning. Recommended.

Thanks for your comments. The hotel has a large saltwater pool available to our customers and we are happy you had the time to enjoy our facilities. We hope to see you soon in Carmona. Greetings, Manuel Sanchez - Manager More

The approach from exit 504 of A4 gives an incredible view of Carmona and you drive in through town gate bringing you to this hotel with its incredible view. This is quite a large hotel with a pretty good sized court yard pool. Very well appointed rooms compared to others we had stayed at in Andelucia. Great base to see... More

The hotel itself is okay, nothing extraordinary though. There is a large public area, but since they hosted one (or several) confirmations that day it was very crowded and noisy. Our room was okay, but WiFi didn't work. Breakfast was disappointing, plates were dirty and even though there was more staff, only one seemed to be in charge of refilling... More

We stayed here for 5 nights and when we arrived it was very busy in the hotel with many children running through the entire building and around the pool. The first night it was noisy everywhere in the hotel. The next day everything was much more quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was served inside and outside. But breakfast was a little... More

If there was a Spanish version of The Shining, I think they would have filmed here. This hotel sits on top of a hill in the old section of Carmona, behind the city walls and commands a view of the surrounding valley. It was built for a queen as I understand it, and as such you get the regal vibe... More

The hotel is charming, it has a parking (need to pay for it). We had room on street side, can be noisy early evening and in morning. We arrived late and eventhough there is a restaurant and bar, we could not have a snack, just drinks. Pool area is lovely. Rooms have enough space and beds are great. Large bathroom.... More

We spent Easter weekend 2015 in Carmona staying at the Alacazar de La Reina Hotel. The hotel is comfortable and good value for money. The outside patio is great for a drink or tapas. The front desk personnel were courteous and helpful. We would certainly stay there again.

Hello friends, Carmona is an interesting Andalusian town. Well worth a visit. Many good tapas bars. Beautiful church interiors. The hotel is of less quality. We reserved a junior suite and when entering, the room was just a bedroom. At reception we were told that the suite part consisted of the balcony!. We took an upgrade to a real suite... More

We wanted to stay one night at the parador but it was full so we chose this hotel. Attractive hotel with lovely courtyard. The rooms were pleasant looking out over the surrounding countryside. Comfortable beds and clean and well equipped bathroom. Breakfast was adequate if a bit basic. We had a drink in the bar before heading out for the... More
