We stayed here for 5 nights and when we arrived it was very busy in the hotel with many children running through the entire building and around the pool. The first night it was noisy everywhere in the hotel. The next day everything was much more quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was served inside and outside. But breakfast was a little... More

If there was a Spanish version of The Shining, I think they would have filmed here. This hotel sits on top of a hill in the old section of Carmona, behind the city walls and commands a view of the surrounding valley. It was built for a queen as I understand it, and as such you get the regal vibe... More

The hotel is charming, it has a parking (need to pay for it). We had room on street side, can be noisy early evening and in morning. We arrived late and eventhough there is a restaurant and bar, we could not have a snack, just drinks. Pool area is lovely. Rooms have enough space and beds are great. Large bathroom.... More

We spent Easter weekend 2015 in Carmona staying at the Alacazar de La Reina Hotel. The hotel is comfortable and good value for money. The outside patio is great for a drink or tapas. The front desk personnel were courteous and helpful. We would certainly stay there again.

Hello friends, Carmona is an interesting Andalusian town. Well worth a visit. Many good tapas bars. Beautiful church interiors. The hotel is of less quality. We reserved a junior suite and when entering, the room was just a bedroom. At reception we were told that the suite part consisted of the balcony!. We took an upgrade to a real suite... More

We wanted to stay one night at the parador but it was full so we chose this hotel. Attractive hotel with lovely courtyard. The rooms were pleasant looking out over the surrounding countryside. Comfortable beds and clean and well equipped bathroom. Breakfast was adequate if a bit basic. We had a drink in the bar before heading out for the... More

We recently booked 3 rooms at the Alcazar to celebrate my mother's 90th birthday! It was a great choice! The hotel has a wonderful location, fronting onto a magnificent uninterrupted view down over the surrounding countryside, and the rooms were spacious and well appointed. My wife and I had a 2nd floor room facing out over the view with twin... More

After reading recent reviews we booked this hotel. The rooms are rather dated with their white and gold taps and our room smelt very musty. The general furnishings around the hotel were rather shabby and the pool area was a no go area as it was filthy and looked like a health hazard! The breakfast was adequate but very slow... More

Carmona itself is a town with narrow cobbled streets which makes the hotels a little difficult to find. However, the signs all direct you to "hotels" so are easy to follow. The hotel is described as an enchanted hotel and it does look rather elegant with heavy patterned furnishings and decor. I liked this richness and the room itself was... More

despite showing its age and in need of an update this hotel has a certain amount of charm and is in a good location in the town center, however, I chose this hotel because the pool and surrounding patio were very appealing, but would not get in the pool because of the pidgeons who because of steps into the pool were able...
