We searched for a place to be a "base" to be able to visit Baeza and Ubeda (5 miles apart), and this is a slightly smaller town, less touristic, we preferred it. We saw that this hotel was an old building, integrated in fact in the enviroment we came to see in Baeza. It is really part of an old... More

Hotel location was excellent, just off the Plaza de la Constitution and was converted from a monastery. U/g parking was useful and the staff were helpful & friendly. We paid for an upgrade to a suite which overlooked a narrow side road (no view so I managed to get a 30e discount) and was directly above the gate to the... More

Great for the main attractions of Baeza. Hotel itself has decent clean rooms. The food here however was terrible, probably the worst food I've ever had from a hotel. I couldn't eat my main course it was just awful. The room we had was OK and I did get a decent nights sleep.

Had a 2 night stay here. The hotel is clean & tidy with a lovely courtyard. The staff were very friendly & helpful, the rooms are nicely decorated & the bed comfortable, bathroom basic. However, the food was a disappointment…the evening meal was edible. Breakfast was basic.

Stayed here one night after sightseeing in Ubeda and Baeza on a coach tour. Room good size, clean and situated on 3rd floor with corridor views down to the inner square where there were tables, chairs and umbrellas for those wishing to sit outside the hotel's bar area. The surrounding area semi-pedestrianised so no heavy vehicles passing. There was a... More

This hotel was once a convent, now converted. Situated in a quiet side road just a short walk from the main square and restaurants. There is no coach access, so you will probably need to walk a few yards to it from the square. We had room 301 which had a Jacuzzi bath in on the 3rd floor overlooking the... More

The hotel is well located in the city centre. The car park is at the side of the hotel although access can be difficult if you have a large car due to the very narrow entrance road. We had a large room on the third floor which was fine and had a huge bed and nice bathroom. Staff were ok... More

Just stayed in this fabulous hotel for two nights.. Its a charming hotel with a fabulous inner terrace and a superb location in the heart of the beautiful city of Baeza.. Staff were helpful and pleasant. The hotel ,unlike some, gives super value for money and the delicious free tapas are incredible.. A large glass of white wine with a... More

I know it was a single room but I didn't expect to have to share my bed with my suitcase! There wasn't enough floor space to put it down.Furniture basic and in poor condition. Window just a pane of frosted glass facing a wall. More like a hostel than a 4 star hotel.Breakfast was very limited choice with coffee machine. On the... More

A pleasant hotel in an interesting old building ~ a converted Convent. Room comfortable and a varied buffet style breakfast servery. Ideal for a short stay. Baeza itself is a very interesting old city, as is Ubeda which is a short drive away.
