Our visits to this hotel have always been enjoyable and good value and our previous review (4 years ago) reflected that. But this year's trip was a bit of a disaster. We managed to get our usual room with a small terrace overlooking the pool and garden but discovered on our second morning that the hotel restaurant (La Pintada, the... More

it's quiet, you have a small pool in the patio, the rooms are clean and decorated with taste,(canopy and curtains of pink canvas jouy). the hotel looks like a provencial house. it's not crowdy as we are not in a very touristic place. The staff is not very present. It's well situated, you can see the steeple of the cathedral as... More

it was so hot when we arrived we were glad they had moved us from a 2nd floor ( under eaves room, which we had requested) to a 1st floor one, with a private terrace, which was much cooler. As ever a beautiful hotel and mainly helpful friendly staff- a bit weird in that they closed the bar on Sunday... More

A beautiful small hotel in the centre of historic Baeza – we couldn’t quite believe the route our satnav took us, right across a square in front of the cathedral, but it was right, and once we dropped off our bags and parked around the back (in the hotel’s own car park) we were free to explore the delightful small... This four star hotel was suppose to be the best hotel in the nice town of Baeza. We have booked early at discount rates, but for us its turn out to be a disappointment. Being located in the old city, the acces to the hotel was difficult, even to take off/on the lagage from your car is a problem because... More

Were there for three nights late last march. Excellent romantic charming hotel a very short walk to everything. This hotel is a monument in itself, just like a museum with rich period decor. Room was clean and comfortable with antique decor and a large terrace with cathedral view. Breakfasts were very generous including freshly cooked eggs on demand. A real... More

Old palace, beautifully adapted for hotel, with large rooms and nice interior patio with pool, right in the center of the old town, near the cathedral and the university. Good to rest, meditate or have a family reunion. One weak point: the wifi internet was very slow.

The best hotel we've stayed in in some time. Beautiful old building, brought up to speed in every way, very, very comfortable. Helpful pros at the deck, capable in several languages. Location, location, location. Yes, it has that, in the centre of the medieval town, hard by the cathedral. With a parking garage, a pool, a good restaurant and an... More

we had a problem trying to book, but were really glad we kept trying. Staff were wonderful, the hotel is beautiful, a stylish mix of antiques and good taste. Not sure if they expected a swimmer in late October, but I braved the leaves and bugs and went in. Really nice and helpful staff We had an attic room, with... More

After staying here twice before a few years ago we revisited again. The hotel is still as charming as ever although some of the furnishings and bathroom would benefit from updating. Paco's bar serves great tapas (choice) but venture into town where there are some really good local bars. Baeza is a beautiful town with friendly vibe.
