What a pretty town Baeza is and the Hotel Puerta de la Luna is in keeping with the heritage of the hotel and in the beautiful old quarter of the town. Our room was large on the second floor and had a generous bathroom (with bath) heated floor and was delightful in almost everyway. The only small gripe was we... More

The hotel room and the hotel setting is lovely, with the swimming pool in the courtyard, close to the cathedral. Unfortunately, the hotel is let down by the management as they need to attend a course in customer service. Enough said.

We were visiting Ubeda and Baeza based on an old Michelin guide recommendation and found the streets were charming, but don't bother visiting out of season as the whole place closes down. There was very limited choice of hotels in the area and we booked this one based on previous reviews. Hotel was very comfortable for a single night stopover... More

In this part of Spain you are limited to 'average' hotels - this is one of the better ones but that is due lack of competition. We stayed one night to break up a trip to Madrid - we would use it again. The town is very old and worth a walk around but be warned the hotel car park... More

Baeza and nearby Ubeda are both lovely little towns that are well worth lingering over. For an overnight stay I'd recommend the Hotel Puerta de la Luna. It's located down a narrow little street very close to Baeza's cathedral so you're close to the heart of the old town. But at the same time it is just a few minutes... More

Lovely clean and smart small hotel well-located in the old town's narrow streets. Our experience however was somewhat spoiled by an overnight parking charge of 16 euros and a breakfast charge of 26 euros (our fault as we should have checked, but given that we had a bowl of fruit and a pastry, the charge is outrageous - the evening... Stayed one night here 12 June 15, what a lovely hotel, we had a spacious room on the second level overlooking the pool.Room very clean and nicely decorated, we enjoyed parking in the hotel car park. That evening we ate at Paco's Tapas Bar, which is part of the hotel, some of the best tapas we had in Spain, great... More

Our visits to this hotel have always been enjoyable and good value and our previous review (4 years ago) reflected that. But this year's trip was a bit of a disaster. We managed to get our usual room with a small terrace overlooking the pool and garden but discovered on our second morning that the hotel restaurant (La Pintada, the... More

it's quiet, you have a small pool in the patio, the rooms are clean and decorated with taste,(canopy and curtains of pink canvas jouy). the hotel looks like a provencial house. it's not crowdy as we are not in a very touristic place. The staff is not very present. It's well situated, you can see the steeple of the cathedral as... More
