An old palace turned into a hotel this place is a short walk to the ferry and train station. It is rendolent of a past age a little run down with plenty of atmosphere. Good value. It would be an excellent place to spend a couple of days to recover from or gird your loins for the hectic tour of... More

It is doubtful that many people visit Algeciras for any reason other than taking the ferry to Morocco. This place is across the road from the harbour and that is its main attraction but it does have a certain charm in itself. There is an air of long-ago better times about it all, from the once ornate public areas to... More

Depending on what your looking for this hotel has potential to surely be one of the worst. Air con only had one setting, and kept us up with the shear noise it made. One charging socket in the whole room. Bathroom practically flooded during showers. It is however right by the port and close to the bus station if you... More

We stayed here for one night as a stop over since we were arriving very late by bus from Granada. The walk from the San Bernardo bus station to the hotel is about 4 mins which was very convenient if you plan to head to Tarifa or Gibraltar. The area I have to admit was a bit shady at nightand... This hotel is great if you are only staying one night travelling through to morocco or Spain, it's in a great location for the port, less than 3 minute walk. The room was clean and came with air conditioning and strong wifi. However it is not worth leaving the hotel, the area looks pretty dodgy and we felt uncomfortable walking... More

My husband and I spent 1 night at this hotel after arriving on the ferry. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the ferry. It's an older high-rise hotel with nice views of Gibraltar, although a few port cranes prevented the perfect photo. Our room on the 6th floor was very clean and quiet. The woman at the front... I stayed here twice - once after an overnight bus from Madrid, prior to catching a ferry to Ceuta, Spain and once after returning from Tangiers, Morocco. The rooms are quite large, but are somewhat cold/damp. The hotel and the rooms are very clean and the bathrooms are spotless. The staff is friendly enough, but not overly so. The location... More

We needed overnight accommodation on the way to Tangier and this hotel certainly served the purpose for convenience. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and cooperative. We had no complaints with the quality of the hotel for the price. Certainly due for a facelift, but everything was functional. We had to to the market to... More

The hotel itself was very clean. The rooms were large but basic with air-con, TV and table and chair. The bathroom was very clean as well, with a bidet (water, very hot! Lovely, as we went in Winter.) We stayed here for two nights, as it was good for the price and near to Gibraltar. The only let down of... More
