We spent a wonderful weekend in Vila Camelia in Sinaia. The house is a 19th century villa with great architecture, beautiful interior and very nice rooms, surrounded by a big garden with old trees and a pergola. The stuff was super friendly (and multilingual) and helped us a lot in arranging our trip to the nearby Beceghi mountains. Not to... More

Excellent weekend location. We ran away from town and they accomodated us in a very cozy room with an excellend view. Surroundings are . breathtaking and the service is very good. People are extremely welcoming here.

I give it 5 stars, because for a three star hotel, this place is close to the city center, very large and comfortable rooms, nice design, friendly staff, big and nice yard and good price during the offers. The place is a bit outdated, but as long as the bed is clean and comfortable, the bathroom is clean and fully... More

The Vila camellia is a lovely hotel for so many reasons. The architecture is grand, the location is perfect for visiting both the monastery and Peles castle, and particularly for the gracious staff. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth. While the paperwork was being completed, we were given a coffee and freshly baked bread. We were... More

I booked two rooms for me with my 5yo son and my parents for the 12-16 aug 2013. My mom is around 80yo so I wanted to be in a place close enough to the Peles Castle to be easy for her to walk. The location of Camelia Inn is very good. Pretty close to almost everything: castle, monastery, park,... More

I came to Sinaia with my family and whrn we arrived at this hotel we discovered that wasn't what we expected. The rooms were very old and also a strange smell came out from the bathroom. .. I was very disappointed with everything and we moved to another place. I will advise you to choose somewhere else.

A little bit pricey because a 6 EURO breakfast and a 45 EURO per double room is expensive for Romania and a sad mountain resort with sidewalks and roads in shreds. I had problems with the Cable TV signal and with the shower. The doors and window were old and with damaged locks. Cheap plastic chairs on the balcony. The... More

Vila Camelia is an old building, probably from 1880, since the owners pride is the massive fireplace from the lobby built around 1884 (as they say). First of all this is a modest 3* hotel, don't expect too much from it. The employees are very friendly and helpful, the breakfast and dinner (when organized by hosts) are up to the... More
