One of the most beautiful settings in the world, and a fine 'castle' that King Carol built. I wasn't sure it was worth the RON 50 they wanted for a tour, so we stayed outdoors and took pictures. Not exactly well-marked coming in through Sinaia from the main Bucharest-Brasov road. But worth the journey.

Impressed at the way the castle is being taken care of and kept. Tour guide so lovely and knowledgeable, future tips, either the guide needs to speak louder, as found myself having to sneak all the time closer and closer to him, or smaller groups. A lovely place to visit whilst in Sinaia.

Peles is the miniature of Schoenbrunn from Austria in Romania. A very cosy, elegant and full of history Castle in Sinaia. Worths every single moment spent there. The scenery is green if you go in the summer and white if you go in the winter. The choice is all yours

The country side was out of this world and with the castle in the background it was breath taking. We stayed at the econo mat beside the castle which was the guards quarters! Loved everything about it

Amazing architecture, unique furniture and room decorations, great location and the guide was very accurate and knowledgable. You have to wait in the queue for the tickets more than 30 minutes when they can easily open 2 tickets places so it would go faster, unfortunate it was only one. It was very crowded for august with many groups of different languages,... More

This castle has everything you want in a palace! My dream summer home. Secret passages, a room for every possible event. The detailed wood working in this place will astound even the most discerning wood carver, carpenter or artist. The collection of the weaponry is fascinating! We took the English tour with the extra floor included for 50 RON per... More

Romania has a wealth of really awesome castles, but Peleș is one you don't want to miss!! It's amazing. From the first glimpse as you make your way up the path of the outer grounds, it's like something from a book. The statue garden is both awesome and awe-inspiring (and the gamer geek in me couldn't help but thinking of... More

We enjoyed our visit of Peles Castle. The tour guide was so helpful! I just wish they had put in more historical and political information in the presentation. I highly recommend you visit this place if you are in Romania. Plus, the forest and the area are superb.
