We chose the Alcova rooms which have high ceilings, nineteenth century frescoes and, specially the larger one, loads of space including an extra z-bed. This is a really friendly place to stay. The pool is cool and fresh, and not over chlorinated. The young Filipina Nelleen (sp?) - a real asset, with good English too - looked after us beautifully.... More

We stayed for 10 days during May 2014 in the nicely renovated main building. The character of the century old rooms was conserved very nicely during the renovation. Service was very good and very friendly, especially the team de cuisine was excellent and offering a very good local food. The whole estate is run very well and also offering good... More

This is a gorgeous old villa on a working farm. It's quiet, beautiful, and relaxing. You can ramble around or go for a swim in the pool. Dinners are excellent and farm-fresh. You can make easy day trips to Enna and Piazza Armerina. The suite with the frescoes is worth the splurge. Be advised that this is rural Sicily, not... More

We stayed for one night with half board. I guess the bad survise was because we were the only guests, but who knows....The breakfast was non-existent (microwaved coffe of unknown age, espresso in a plastic cup, old supermarket cookies and some cheap orange juice). The dinner was mediocre (antipasti and pasta were OK, the meat was burned, the dessert was... More

I have booked this Agriturismo because I have read about the great history behind it (it is all very well advertised on their website), hoping to experience its great character and charm. This was the most expensive room we have had during our whole stay in Sicily, but we thought it was worth it, considering the experience. I was quoted... More

A wonderful place to stay. Beautiful, large, historic house (previously a monastery); spectacular views from the open area in front; very warm and welcoming hosts; superb food in the evening and good breakfast in the morning; and close to so many fascinating places (though you could quite happily have sat and read and looked at the views all day!). A... More
