We stayed at Clone House while attending a wedding nearby. The attention to detail and the quality of the food was excellent. I would highly recommend it as a beautiful escape in Wicklow with a very hight standard of catering and hospitality.

We could not have been more pleased with our stay at Clone House in June 2014. My wife and I stayed two nights here at the beginning of a 9-night trip through Ireland to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Liam and Áine were delightful hosts and provided us with the royal treatment. We particularly enjoyed our conversations with them, which... More

How we found Clone House? I don't remember, Google obviously, but after that it's all hazy, the important thing is that we found it and stayed there. It was a lucky internet hit. So, after a stressful 5 hour drive from County Cavan we arrived at Clone House near Aughrim, tired, thirsty, in need of tea and a good comfy... More

My wife and I had a restful long weekend at Clone House. The organisation was straightforward, the welcome sincere and we soon felt at home in a beautifully restored house of character. The generous bedroom (sans TV) with ensuite bath long enough for my 6'3" frame, offered views of rolling countryside ascending to the Wicklow hills, and when the shutters... More

But none have come close to our experience at Clone House in the Wicklow Mountains. I should have known when we first booked our stay, for Liam was as... More

We visited Clone House at the end of spring and found it every thing you would expect of a secluded Irish stop over. Nestled in the rolling green hills of County Wicklow, first sight of the house is picturesque and the impression grows on further acquaintance. Our room was beautiful and spacious, as was the ensuite. Liam and Aine, were... More

I had a wonderful stay at the Clone House. My room, the Vale of Avoca, was spacious and looked out over the back gardens. The House is a very peaceful retreat after the drive from Dublin Airport. There are signs giving directions to the house, which are helpful and make it relatively easy to find. Dinner is served in their... More

We are so happy our son and his fiancée (dear daughter-in-law now) had chosen Clone House for their intimate wedding. All 11 of us – bride and groom and their immediate families’ members – had the whole house to ourselves and spent here 2 wonderful days. The hosts of the house, Liam and Áine, went above and beyond to make... More
