Stayed here for my sisters Hen night recently. Couldnt fault the Hotel and Karen was great. The meal was top notch and I requested an area to show the Bride To Be a slideshow and that was no problem at all. Would recommend to anyone planning a hen in Mullingar for the very reasonable price for Bed, Breakfast and 3... More

We ate dinner in the Ulysses Bar here and the menu had good choice and the food was a good quality. All the food was hot, fresh and plentiful - except for the side salad which was limp. The staff were busy so didn't really have much time for niceties which can happen. The bar itself is in need of... More

Well back to my home town after leaving 22yrs ago and it's heart warming to know that they still serve up good quality Irish food. Mash flavoured heavily with onions, great gravy, good quality meats and a home made scone to finish. The rooms have a classic feel to them but the bathrooms are terribly old fashioned some with dark... More

Stayed for a week while on business. Mid town location and off street parking. Good restaurant and helpful staff. And on the first floor a statue of James Joyce who visited/stayed here? In "Ulysses" young Milly Bloom was working in Mullingar so there's a literary link. And also the hometown of the late Joe Dolan and for you 1ders it's... More

I stayed in the Greville arms hotel back in August. From the second we checked in at reception until the second we checked out, the service in the Greville arms was top quality. The receptionist made us feel very welcome and reassured us that if we needed anything all we had to do was ask. The room was immaculate and... More

Stayed here a very rainy night in late March. No bother - pleasant place to be in. Food was there, beer and wine was there, everyone was nice and helpful. Clean and nice room. Only drawback was the lack of an elevator, which is understandable in an old house, but bad for an old back. All-in-all a very pleasant stay.

Stayed here overnight on a business trip. The hotel was very well priced and was excellent value for money. Breakfast was included and was worth having as it was very good indeed. The staff were more than friendly and very helpful. The hotel was beautiful and had many different styles and themes including an actual small museum. The food was... More

Nice small hotel in the middle of Mullingar town, stayed there for couple of nights, rooms were in a good size, modern for an old hotel but not very sound proof.... Pub in the hotel was very nice, pint of Guinness 4.20e, live music Fri and Sat night and good craic in general. Great bar food and good choice for... More
