Stayed in the Bloomfield with my partner and 3 year old and 6 month old sons for four days. Had a family room which is basically just a big room with enough beds for four. They supplied a cot and a fridge on request which made things easier for bottles etc. We ate in the bar on two nights and... more

My family and I had to stay in Mulligar to attend a tennis tournament with my son aged 11. We choose the Bloomfield for the swimming pool. We were thrilled to learn of the kid's club where our 7 year old played during the day and later that evening which gave us the freedom to eat and relax in the... more

The Bloomfield House Hotel is a fantastic hotel for all the family. The location is superb, overlooking the lake, close proximity to belvedere house and gardens. You're minutes from everything. The lesiure facilities were great. Especially the swimming pool, which is where my son and i spent a lot of time. (He really enjoyed it). The weather was fantastic and... more

Myself and my partner recently stayed for a midweek break at Bloomfield. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay despite the rainy weather. The dinner in the restaurant was simply gorgeous, particularly the dessert. The atmosphere was really relaxed and the staff really helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back to enjoy the stunning surroundings and the lovely food. more

I had to review this hotel to try to temper the obviously delusional previous reviews! We were looking for a reasonably priced breakaway with our 2 small children and having spoken to the reservations lady were assured that this hotel would be perfect. I'll briefly summarise the issues that we had: We were led to believe that there was a... more

The trip was a relaxing midweek break with all the facilities that you could need for a relaxing break. The spa was breathtaking and well worth a visit for to destress from all this recession talk. Their is also a nice walk to the lake before your dinner and full use of the leisure facilities. more

Myself and my partner stayed at Bloomfield last weekend and we could not be happier with our stay. From the lovely girl at reception to the housekeepers upstairs, everyone was so warm and friendly. Our stay included a meal and the food was gorgeous. I had a facial in the spa as a treat and it really was. Brekkie was... more

My husband and I had booked in to this hotel just for one night as a little treat. Upon arrival the first thing to hit us was how run down the hotel looked from the outside. Definetly nothing like its brochure pictures. Upon entering the hotel, we were ignored by check in staff for about 10 mins. One receptionist did... more
