Stayed here for two nights. Friendly staff from check in to check out. Clean warm room. Upon check in we were told we could have breakfast anytime we wanted if we were to lie in which was brilliant. Right in the town walking distance to all shops. Would definately stay here again!

This has to be the noisiest hotel I've ever stayed in. Room on the ground floor with the main road right outside and heavy traffic and pedestrians right outside the window. Had to park at the railway station as no parking available at the hotel itself. Wifi did not work. Poor reception on TV and no remote control. A basic... More

Stayed here on Halloween night (Friday 31st oct) with partner and 7 year old child, big 4 beded room with breakfast 95 euros. Room was big along with spacious bathroom, it was 4 single beds but could move together to make king bed. There is a small bar that serves food and drink, this hotel is cosy like a bed... More

We stayed here for 1 night in September at the start of our Ireland adventure. Comfy bed, large room and bathroom, great Chinese food downstairs. They stored our bags when we got there as well as after we checked out. Friendly staff and checkin checkout was easy. Loved Mullingar so pretty :)

I had read a number of reviews here about the hotel before I booked rooms - I was a little wary but no-one seemed to have a problem with the hotel itself..so out of necessity I said Id chance it.. The parking is atrocious, but to be fair, there is a substantial public carpark around the corner which is not... More

We have just returned from a weekend at the Newbury, travelling with a group of friends. The hotel was very clean, the food (especially the freshly cooked breakfasts) was good and the location was perfect for the town and walks along the canal. The staff were friendly and very helpful, especially Hannah who handled our booking. One of our group... More

Stayed here on 1st March as part of a hen. Arrived at 4pm to a full car park, to be informed our room was not ready, the lady on the desk then tried to overcharge us, when we stated this she offered no apology and was just plain rude. While waiting in reception the desk was mostly unmanned and when... More

Stayed in the Newbury Hotel overnight as we were attending a charity function in Mullingar, this is one of the friendliest hotels I have ever stayed in... on booking in my friend asked what time breakfast was served and was told don't worry we start at 7-30 and whatever time you want to have it , thats fine... Amazing, but... More

Had another great stay in this hotel. As always the owners/staff greet you with such a warm friendly feeling. The food here is always so tasty, Love the breakfast which really sets you up for your day ahead. The rooms are very spacious and spotless and the En-suite has shower & bath. Central to everything you would need, ie Pubs/Restaurants/Shopping... More
