We have stayed here a few times now and are never let down by The Cliff House. Everything from the location, the food, the interior design, the spa and last but not least, the choice of staff make this place our favourite hotel in Ireland. Looking forward to coming back.

I have just returned from a weekend stay in Cliff House and we were extremely happy with the service, the food was amazing (as we expected) and the view was breath taking. The only downfall I will say is the bed was not comfortable. Neither myself nor my husband slept comfortably for the night. The bed was too short, and... More

Having just celebrated our wedding in The Cliff House, my wife and I felt it important to share our thoughts on this special venue. From the moment we considered The Cliff House as our wedding venue everything has been perfect. The hotel itself is beautiful, the food marvelous and staff second to none. All our guests were made feel just... More

We had planned for a two night stay at the Cliff House to cap a wonderful week in Ireland (our first time). The winding drive to the property was scenic and idyllic, giving us a very homey feel on the approach. The town area was quaint and the signage was more than sufficient to direct us to the hotel. We... More

Stayed in the hotel back in January and I thought it was only fair to write the review now as I as so angry leaving at the time. I stayed in the Cliffhouse with my friends and we got “a deal”. On our letter it stated that we had one night B & B and a 3 course evening meal.... More

My husnand and I had a lovely stay here last week. The hotel is beautiful inside but what really makes this place is the fantastic view. The room was lovely and waking up to the beautiful sea view was a real treat. All hotel staff were friendly, efficient and any requests were no problem to them. Minor issued were dealt... More

We ate in the Bar area on Saturday evening at 5pm. We were very hungry and were looking forward to some nice food. After asking for a menu and a table, we were told that the only food available to us was sandwiches and soup. Bit disappointed but what could we do. It was difficult to get anyones attention to... Dear Albob28 I was very sorry to hear that your recent dining experience was disappointing. After a busy lunch that day it does take us some time to reset the bar and kitchen for the evening hence the need to restrict the menu offering and the fact that we might not have been looking our best. I do apologise and... More

We stayed in Cliff house for two nights as a special treat on a recommendation of a friend. On the first night we booked a table for the restaurant but when we arrived at the restaurant, there was a queue and even though we had booked and were residents we were told to just wait at the end of the... Dear Tim R Thank you for your comments. Sounds like you actually dined in the Bar restaurant and sorry that you did not enjoy your experience. Though I am sorry to say that I find it hard to believe that we would only allow one croissant per guest. Yours sincerely Adriaan Bartels General Manager More

We returned again this year ( family of 4 ) and we were not disappointed , we had a wonderful time and most of what makes the Cliff House has been said already. A major point I would like to make is the professionalism of the staff and the fact that so many are there over many years, I really... More
