Duncrone B&B must be one of the loveliest places to stay in the whole of Ireland, for the B&B - run by Jeanette and her charming family, seems to me the very exemplar of Irish hospitality. My bus arrived in the early morning and Jeanette collected me from the bus stop. She showed me to my room which was bright,... More

I have being visiting Ardmore since before I was born and have passed through every B&B in the village at this stage. I can honestly say that Duncrone is the very best. The house is situated a short 15 minute walk from the village and enjoys most lovely location overlooking Armore's beautiful three beaches as well as the 10th century... More

Arrived and felt like family from the first hello to the final "family" picture taken when we left. Jeanette and her son are amazing. They are so friendly, engaging and accommodating. The breakfast alone is worth the stay!! Fresh squeezed orange juice, freshly picked strawberries and eggs gathered that morning! The rooms spacious and ever so clean. If we are... More

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Duncrone B&B. The B&B is located on a hill with a beautiful view of Ardmore Bay and the Round Tower. Jennnette gave us a very warm welcome and her breakfasts and baked goods are top notch. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. We had a delightful time talking with Jenn and her son... More

Myself and a friend stayed here last week for two nights and were met with such great warmth and hospitality by the friendly and helpful hosts. The landlady Jeanette treated us like relations giving us cups of tea, home made cake, and lifts down to the village. I felt very at home and didn't want to leave. The whole house is... More

We travel a lot, so we know a real gem when we find one! This place looks new (actually about 10 years old). Beautiful views and nice furnishings. They have thought of everything: hair dryer and wifi password in the room (had to ask for these everywhere else). And it's the first place in Europe we've found that has face... More

Lovely place to stay. Stayed here for 1 night, great room with view overlooking bay, fantastic breakfast and Jeanette host was lovely and very accomodating. Would recommend cliff walk in the morning and the local pottery shop is cute.
