Mid August 2015, with family of 4, our accommodations at another property, fell through, we stopped at a number of B&B's between Athlone and Nenagh and they were all booked including Abbeyview. The owner, Siobhan took us in and worked the phones and her magic to identify a b&b for us. Siobhan must have called a dozen places for us.... More

My patner and I have been to a lot of B&Bs in Ireland, and this is definitely one of the very best we have ever been to. Not only Siobhán was an excellent and warm host, the rooms were also beautifully furnished and comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. I highly recommend this place!

Spent our last B&B night in Ireland at this lovely place, and had 5 star treatment all the way. Even though Siobhan had recently had a loss in the family, she took excellent care of her guests, and the breakfast was one of the best in our experience on this trip. It is definitely worth the extra time out of... More

Siobhan epitomises the warm genuine Irish welcome and nothing was too much trouble. My mum is a coeliac and was particularly delighted with her breakfast which included gluten-free toast, cereals and freshly baked scones! High standards, spacious comfortable rooms, great views and the most welcoming and helpful host - couldn't recommend enough. Thanks Siobhan, you are a treasure!

It´s a very very good B&B a 15 minutes walk outside Nenagh city centre. I had a room on the ground floor with view to the garden. It was absolutly quiet and lovely. The room was ensuite with a queen size bed and absolutly clean and cosy. The host gives you very good advice what do do and see in... More

Abbeyview was originally just a stopover between Dublin and Killarney, but it turned out to be an absolutely wonderful experience. The B&B is lovely, very clean, very comfortable rooms, and breakfast was delicious. Siobahn, our host, was absolutely wonderful. She welcomed us with tea and cake, and we so enjoyed chatting with her. She gave us lots of advice on... More

Abbeyview B&B is a modern home with lovely, spacious rooms. I have been working in the area for a number of weeks, so I have stayed in a few different rooms and they are all warm, large and well appointed rooms. The beds are very comfortable and the bed linen is high quality. The en-suites are well laid out and... More
