We arrived in Nenagh for a weekend break on the 6th February 09 The bus from dublin stops in the center of town, then it's just a five minute walk to the Hotel which was great. We went in the Court yard entrance which was not very impressive, a fountain, chairs, huge carpark. We didn't realise the Front Entrance was... more

The Abbey Court Hotel and Lodges are perfect for a family holiday. We stayed in a 5 bedroom house, which sleeps 10, but there are also 3 bed and 8 bed available. The house/lodge is very well equiped with all you need for a "home away from home". Kitchen come dining room is very clean and has everything you could... more

Spent one full week with the family in the hotels lodges. The lodge was exactly what we wanted, a home from home. The lodge we had was a three bedroom ( one ensuite) house with kitchen/ dinning area and a lounge/ TV room. My daughters were in heaven when they saw that each bedroom had its own TV. The lodges... more

Stayed over for a 3 night BB & 1 dinner with my husband and two kids. We did stay here for a couple of nights about 8 years ago and were a little concerned after reading the recent reviews. We had a family room that was very spacious overlooking the pretty garden. Room/bathroom very good apart from the bed. It... more

I arrived in Nenagh on business and had a meeting the next day so i was like I have to get a quiet place after my stay in Cork the night before {Drive thru outside my window} The staff were lovely. The ambience was weird all this mish mash of designs from different eras and periods. Its the abbey court... more

I was staying over night in the abbey court as I was attending a wedding at the hotel. I booked online with hotels ireland as it was much cheaper than the hotel direct. The hotel was nice, clean room and bathroom. I had the breakfast which was good, and the service from the staff was nice and polite. The breakfast... more

This was the most depressing hotel I stayed in during a recent trip to Ireland - maybe ever stayed in. The competing aesthetics- tudor, Friar Tuck, medieval nights, venice, 1980s North of England or maybe even the production notes for Get Carter. Needless to say, I am still suffering! While the swimming pool and steam room were dcent, the reality... more

I stayed at the Abbey Court with my wife and son over the past weekend. The staff were ok, nothing exceptional, the food was pretty standard fare. The room was also fairly average-comfortable enough and clean, although the bathroom looked in need of a makeover. The foyer could be made more attractive with a bit of thought re lighting etc.... more
