I cannot thank the staff in The Abbey Court Hotel enough. Even before booking the girls on reception were so helpful and accommodating. There were 22 adults & 11 children under 5 in our party and all the children never seemed to stress out the staff, even during dinner in the restaurant on Saturday night!! The creche was great for... I recently stayed in the Abbey Court for a three night break. The hotel is great but the leisure centre staff are rude. I was charged €6.00 for hire of towels!!! and another €4.00 for a hat!!! Its disgraceful that you try and tap your residents for hidden extras, it is petty. As I am staying in the hotel I... More

After my previous 2 visits, one for 2 weeks and one for 3 days, I have just experienced a great silver surfer offer. The staff are so amenable, pleasant and good craic. Nenagh is also a picturesque village in the heart of Tipperary. Will be visiting again this year.

This is an interesting place and must have some history which unfortunately I haven't checked yet. Hotel is old and rooms seems not refurbished for some time. Heating is difficult to adjust and if you visit in cold weather I may be cold inside as radiators are usually off. Basin with two taps is something that I particularly hate and... More

My son and I called on the 22.12.2014 and sat at table 9 in the bar area to have lunch. The hotel has changed from a carvery to waiter service at the table. In my opinion a big mistake. I ordered the turkey and ham and my son ordered the salmon. We eventually got two very small glasses of water... More

We were very surprised and delighted by our stay here. We got a marvellous night sleep so much so we nearly missed Breakfast. The Breakfast was divine and we were looked after very well. We had an evening meal the night before and the service was the best we have encountered for sometime. Food was plentiful and wonderful. Well done and... More

We had a great weekend in Nenagh. we found the food in the bar delicious and the two lads who work in the bar were so attentive and their service was excellent. The rooms could do with some work our double bed was two singles pushed together. Its 2014 not 1980. But overall we had a lovely experience and we... More

We had an unexpected family meet up in Nenagh one Saturday. After business was done we decided to have lunch and picked the local hotel as it had easy parking for the three cars we were in. We were two families of 5 adults, 3 teenagers and a little one. We were also two vegetarians and three coeliacs. The bar... More

I met my aunt and cousin here for a pre Christmas catch up on saturday. We met in the bar and spent nearly 4 hours chatting, having lunch and drinking tea. Never once did we feel rushed or that we were in the way. We had 2 kids with us and staff were very helpful and friendly, getting us high... More
