Visited this hotel yesterday with my daughter to meet up with a friend. Ordered mashed potato for my daughter who has difficulty swallowing, asked if it could be sieved (even brought the sieve with me to avoid any inconvenience) was told it wasn't possible to sieve the potato as it had already been put through a machine to mash it!... Four of us stayed in The Abbey Court Hotel for one night before we went to spend the day doing the Burren and Cliffs of Moher the next day. The hotel itself is clean. The reception is beautiful, with very inviting staff. Our room unfortunately did not keep up with the beautiful standards set by the reception. We were on... More

Stayed here with a group of friends for 1 night. Reception staff were very nice, & quick checking us in, even when 11 of us stood infront of them, all booked in under different names. The cookies left on the desk were yummy too!! The twin rooms were very spacious, nice size beds, I'm sure wardrobe space was fine, but... More

Myself and my husband stopped for dinner here today (16th November) we were travelling home from a night away and decided to have some food, stretch the legs and give the baby a break from the car. First impressions were great, clean and warm, we went to the bar, took a seat, after about 10mins of not even been acknowledged... More

I stayed for one night and found the staff to be extremely helpful. The rooms are very spacious and the leisure facilities are great. I ate in the bar both for dinner and lunch the next day and thoroughly enjoyed the Cleopatra salad :) If I am in Nenagh again I would definitely stay here.

Stayed here recently due to a work meeting and had stayed previously a number of years back to attend a wedding. The hotel hasn't changed much if at all during that time and I do think the rooms could do with a bit of an upgrade, a little tired around the edges and the décor a bit dated but in... More

Had a terrible time. The place is falling apart. Way too expensive to stay in such a dive and the food is absolutely disgusting. I ended up staying in a B&B due to the terrible conditions. Would recommend this place be knocked down and start again from scratch - leaking ceiling being the most obvious problem.

Ate in the restaurant of this hotel at lunchtime and was astounded at the choice of food and the excellent value for money which they offered. Service was fast and the server was friendly and helpful. They offer a small and a large portion and unless you need a doggy bag to take home stick with their smaller portion! All... More

I didn't actually stay in the hotel but in the lodges owned by the hotel. To be fair the house we stayed in was excellent I couldn't fault it. The food however in the hotel was not good.. Dry seabass on a bed of burnt what I think was vegetables.. Staff were lovely and very helpful though.

Stayed for two nights over the Halloween break for a wedding. If looking for a deal look at Trivago etc. as one would get a far better deal than through the hotel. Arrived Halloween night and it was delightful to see children dressed up partaking in festivities. The reception is warm and welcoming with a large area and a fire.... More
