Took our teenage sons on a short 2 night break to this hotel on a treat ticket break. Pleasantly surprised, hotel very clean, staff friendly, only slight negative was our room smelled of smoke (which is unusual today) but interconnecting rooms were of a good standard with clean bathrooms and plenty of space. Hotel is 5 mins walk from town... More

This hotel was very good value for money. Our room was spacious and clean. They have a lovely pool and the food in the restaurant was very good. It is walking distance to the centre of Roscommon town. A good place for a weekend break.

Stayed here for one night when attending a birthday party. Hotel is in a great location and with good facilities with the pool etc,. Staff really friendly and helpful and were very attentive. Room was clean tidy and a very good standard . Food was good and would not be your gourmet standard but none the less everything was fresh... More

My family and I visited for drinks and lunch. The ambiance is nice and the hotel is on pretty grounds. I stayed locally but happier with where I stayed rather than the Abbey Hotel. I received a better offer elsewhere and received world class treatment. I did enjoy visiting and the staff were friendly at the front desk but never... More

Nice hotel with good facilities. Not family friendly. Stayed in hotel with 20 families and friends. Hotel staff didn't want children there. Price was fair with the accommodation and breakfast provided.

This hotel had a overly setting and had a leisure centre with a pool. I arrived on Saturday evening -at about 7 pm. Pool was closed and I was told it would not reopen until after breakfast. Most people, I think, want to use a pool before breakfast. Room could have been developed as olde world charm-it was simply old... More

We stayed here with our 1 year old and 4 year old over easter weekend. The staff were all really friendly and so helpful. The room was spacious and clean and had a lovely view of the old abbey. The leisure centre was great with convenient opening hours. The selection of food for breakfast was great and of excellent quality.... More

Stayed for two nights for leisure purposed Pleasant location, Friendly staff. Bedroom needs painting -tired and dated. Well worn bed spread and carpet. Lack of variety in Breakfast. Perhaps there were events on in hotel as it was difficult to find a parking spot.
