Friendly staff and a great view of the Abbey ruins from east facing rooms. Even better scenery from the dining/breakfast room, making it a rather positive experience. Room was well set up for 2 adults/3 kids. Only negative was the quality of the beds. Kids enjoyed the pool and I'd say it was definitely better than the norm. Clean changing... More

We stayed here 2 nights while attending a large family function. The Abbey has lovely grounds which we enjoyed thoroughly. We were part of a group of 28 approx and our meal was excellent. The service was as good as if we were having dinner for 2! Rooms were clean and very well presented. Staff were extremely helpful throughout our... More

Average hotel. Amazing wedding and wedding food. We had two rooms which where basic, the shower was very poor! Bathroom wasn't very clean either. Food was amazing in bar, but service was very poor and understaffed. I understand it was a local Gallic football match on. But the hotel was very busy and noisy. Staff at reception where very friendly... More

Stayed as a guest from a wedding in hotel & only stayed for the one night but wished now it could have been longer! I really enjoyed my stay as staff were very welcoming & friendly at all times. The food is excellent & as breakfast can be a bit rushed on a Sunday morning in other hotels, I found... More

Took our teenage sons on a short 2 night break to this hotel on a treat ticket break. Pleasantly surprised, hotel very clean, staff friendly, only slight negative was our room smelled of smoke (which is unusual today) but interconnecting rooms were of a good standard with clean bathrooms and plenty of space. Hotel is 5 mins walk from town... More

This hotel was very good value for money. Our room was spacious and clean. They have a lovely pool and the food in the restaurant was very good. It is walking distance to the centre of Roscommon town. A good place for a weekend break.
