My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights in late February and we could not have been happier. The drive up from Dublin was beautiful and terrifying! The roads it seems get smaller and smaller the more north you go. Arriving at an enormous stone entrance way, we drove out of the forest, rounded a bend, and sitting right... More

I've been to Kilronan Castle three times in the last year, and I keep wanting to go back - the food is exquisite - it tailors for your every mood from fine dining to casual wholesome home cooking. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, decor is tasteful and manages to mix the old with the new very well. The... More

Beautiful location beside a lake, appropriately decorated with friendly staff. Stayed for one night in two standard rooms, one double and one twin. Both rooms were well laid out and had good sized bathrooms with separate shower and bath and a good supply of toiletries. We would have liked a clock and a few more clothes hangers if staying longer.... More

We have recently returned from a 2 night stay in Kilronan. We both like to review trip advisor before booking our precious few weekends away. Our last trip was to Lisloughrey in Cong and when we thought we had seen and stayed in the best Ireland had to offer -Well let's just say this hotel & spa takes the biscuit.... More

My friend and I stayed two nights last week at this wonderful castle hotel as part of a castle tour of Ireland. This was by far the best! The room was wonderful and we were actually upgraded since there was available space mid week and off season. We each had two spa treatments and they were excellent! Staff was all... More

I stayed here over Valentines Day for two nights. The rate given was excellent and we had never been to Roscommon before. Pictures on website looked fabulous and it lived upto them. We arrived at 7pm on the 13th February and had booked dinner at 8pm. The food was lovely and service excellent. On Monday we had massages booked in... More

Got a one night deal in this 5 star hotel, great deal. Very luxurious rooms and leisure centre, pub grub not the best but main restaurant is beautiful. They also do exceptional weekday deals and family rooms. Staff very friendly and helpful. This hotel is for a quiet break away so don't expect sininging in the bar at night.

The stay here was very relaxing. The hotel was beautiful. The re-build has been done to an excellent standard. The rooms are very clean and sumptuous. It is obvious that the hotel was developed with the American customer in mind. This is not a business hotel and what this hotel lacks is a host to make guests feel at home.... More

Had a special offer overnight B&B at Kilronan. Bed was clean and Bar was nice but food service was weak rather than bad.. Maybe unfair to compare with the Loch Eske Castle hotel but does not come up to the standard... Room was OK and everything worked ok but lacked the wow factor we expected having been to the Loch... Stayed here with my girlfriend on a mid week package, Staff were excellent and couldn't be more helpful. The food was amazing, and I mean amazing. The room was out of this world, we stayed in the old part of the castle which I would recommend, if available! Another great aspect is the grounds surrounding the castle, great for walks... More
