Just back from Nuremore Hotel. Overall it was an enjoyable stay. I can agree with some aspects of some of the current reviews, however over all for what we paid it was GREAT value. Admittedly, the hotel could do with a huge renovation, but, we did NOT experience dead bugs or dirt, just areas which were tired. The food was... More

This is a lovely Hotel both inside & out. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and would be an ideal setting for a wedding. Also in a lovely peaceful location. This Hotel has great Golf courses and a Leisure complex. The Bar also provides meals/snacks all day. Bedrooms are beautifully decorated and spacious with Tea/Coffee Facilities. Bathroom perhaps a bit outdated... More

Booked for a romantic break. Decor could definitely do with updating. Had booked in for a facial and it was mediocre... Girl was friendly enough but it was done in a room just of the pool area; pretty much like a storeroom. There was no ambience at all for example the ceiling light was very bright, no music and the... Reception, bar area and restaraunt fine and very clean.we passed through the door to the lift and were met with the first set of stairs which looked like hadn't been vacumned in weeks.we then had a fairly long walk down 2 corridors which had a strong musty damp smell, again serious basic cleaning needed.the room was very spacious and initially seemed clean,however... Myself and my wife have stayed in this lovely hotel twice, most recently on our way to spiddal on a Friday evening in July. We checked in at 4pm on a glorious sunny evening. First thing to do after checking in was get a nice cool pint of heineken and sit on the patio overlooking the golf coure & lake.... More

The family rooms are perfect for slightly older children as they have there own wee area with twin beds and own TV. The pool is also good for a swim for everybody. It's just a bit old fashioned but the kids didn't notice or mind.

Our family room was ideal as it offered a separate bedroom for our teenage sons and room in general was very spacious. Had bar dinner and really good quality food on offer. Leisure center was brilliant and grounds so nice for a... More

Stayed here for a family event - just a one night stay. The room was nice, with tea and coffee facilities, a well stocked bathroom, robes and slippers and even an ironing board and iron. The leisure centre was great with a lovely jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. The bar was also really nice and we enjoyed watching the Dublin... More

Just back from the Nuremore hotel this being our second time staying there. The reception and reservation staff went far beyond the call off duty in making sure our family of six got the most comfortable room available at short notice. The room contained 4 single beds and one queen bed. The room was very comfortable as is the hotel... More
