Comfortable hotel but a bit dated. There is also a horrible smell outside which seemed to be permeating from some sort of effluent treatment/irrigation set-up. Staff very pleasant and restaurant food was excellent. Sri Lankan gentleman in restaurant very helpful if you're looking for a good wine. The Spa Centre and Pool are a definite plus point to the hotel.... more

what an amazing family break...accommodation great and the food exceptional. The staff were helpful and friendly ,allowing us to have a late check out to suit our travel plans. A wonderful place to relax and recharge your batteries -in quaint country surroundings .Our only small gripe was the water pressure-the shower- not a place to linger. Overall an experience to... more

Was here for the May Bank Hol for a Wedding. Was dreading my stay based on previous reviews but i found the hotel to be fantastic. We had a big clean room with a huge bed! All staff from reception, bar to function room were very helpful, in particular the manager who was in charge of the wedding, i think... more

I attended a wedding at the weekend in the Nuremore hotel and have to say it was really excellent. The food was delicious and the serving staff were polite and efficient. There were plenty of bar staff behind the bar, you barely had to wait to get served. The grounds around the hotel are lovely. It’s a really pleasant place... more

We stayed in the Nuremore for a friends wedding recently and found it very unsatisfactory. We have stayed in far better hotels for less money and were very unimpressed. Firstly we found the staff very unaccomodating we phoned ahead to request an early check in as we were travelling to the wedding and the staff could not do anything at... more

Attended a wedding in this hotel during the year and I was very disapointed. Firstly when we checked in when hotel was quiet before wedding guests arrived. I found reception staff to be so unfriendly - not a smile between them. The actual meal was abit of disaster when one of the guests at our table got a fly in... more

Nice hotel, nice grounds, food ok. Room was old fashioned and needed the cobwebs cleaning out of the corners! Shower trickled rather than showered. Only 1 plug socket for guests to use in room - no good if you have phone, laptop, ipod speakers etc....BUT the worst of all was the temperature in the room and corridors - far too... more

I was recently organising my wedding and booked appointments with wedding coordinators in a few hotels in the northeast to help me decide which would be the best for our big day. I booked an appointment with the lady in the Nuremore a week in advance for 12p.m on a Saturday morning. We were there bang on time and were... more

It calls itself a four star hotel. It’s very inconsistent. It has a rule that kids are not to be in restaurant after 7.30 pm. Yet after us getting a baby sitter to mind our three kids, we had our whole meal ruined by 3 kids running up and down the restaurant all through our meal. Staff said nothing. Food... more

My husband and child stayed here for 2 nights. We found everything to be lovely - the food in the restaurant is really amazing - I would say Michelin quality. We ate there both nights. The hotel decor was fine and they are going through a refurb at the moment - the only slightly noticeable wear and tear was in... more
