John and Geraldine are fine hosts. Their large home (manor!) is located off a "country" road, but very near "town." Our room had a pretty view and a sparkly bathroom. Linens were fresh and comfy. J&G were attentive and made us know they could be found if we needed them.

Myself and my partner stayed here due to attending a nearby wedding, the B&B is very large and beautifully furnished. The owner is very welcoming and our room was perfect. There is a vast choice for breakfast, we opted for the cooked breakfast which was delicious. When we struggled to get a taxi to the venue of the wedding the... More

Very pleasant. Stayed there for one night while doing some family history research. Geraldine was waiting for me at the bus stop when I arrived at the bus stop. Very quiet B&B just outside of town. 10-15 minute walk from town-a little hilly. Great setting and a great breakfast. will definitely stay there again on my next visit to Carrickmacross.

My friend and I stayed here after a wedding, and had a very good experience. Upon arrival the owners offered to bring us to the wedding venue ( Nuremore hotel, 5 min down the road. Taxi back was 10 euro). The breakfast was very good too, I got a big fry and my friend who is a vegetarian, could choose... More

My partner and I stayed at the Brookville Manor with a couple of friends after travelling over for a wedding. Many of the other wedding guests were staying at the wedding venue however we were after something slightly cheaper, and picked Brookville Manor. Owners Geraldine & John are fantastic hosts, and absolutely nothing is too much bother. From the day... More
