Great hotel, 1880 exterior with a 21st Century interior. Staff are great, food is lovely, rooms are excellent. What more could you want. Stayed here several times and each time the welcome from the staff is warm and friendly. Have not hesitation in recommending this hotel. Ahhhhh AC would be a plus but not a problem.

I was really surprised at this hotel. From the outside I was just expecting a small pub type place. It was excellent. The rooms were huge and very modern. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The night porter opened the bar up for us well after hours with no fuss at all. I will certainly return again when I... More

This is a lovely refurbished modern hotel with a really nice ambiance. The bedrooms are large, spacious, comfortable and good value in money terms. We had food and drink in the bar. Th food was very good as were the few pints we enjoyed. Good menu and wine list. The staff are very friendly. The hotel has been refurbished with... More

I stayed here for a weekend for a get together. The hotel has been tastefully restored. Upon check-in the staff were courteous and most helpful. The room was spacious and very clean. I found the food in the function room to be of a high standard, as was the food in the restaurant for breakfast. Overall, I would recommend this... More

Just spent a night here, would highly recommend it. All the staff were friendly and polite, the food in the bar was excellent, as was the service. We were there for a Kickboxing competition, nearby, which the staff knew about, and my son and a few mates were able to train in one of the smaller function rooms. Next time... More

I attended a family reunion last weekend and we stayed at The Shirley Arms. To say we were impressed is an understatement. Our room was lovely and both dinner and breakfast were excellent. An unbelievable choice of food. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. We had lunch in the bar on our... More

We visit relations in Ireland and always go to the Shirley Arms for lunch. The bar area is welcoming and comfortable; the staff are excellent, friendly and helpful. I always have the seafood chowder which has been on the menu for a number of years…. it is rich and delicious. The menu offers a fairly wide choice and the overall... More

Just back from a weekend stay in the Shirley arms hotel. There were 20 of us down for a golf weekend, the location was very handy and it's just an hours drive from Belfast. The hotel was spotless, food was excellent and the staff were so friendly and helpful, they really are a credit to the hotel.

Arrived in Ireland for my brother's wedding and he had recommended this hotel for our stay. We can't thank him enough as The Shirley Arms is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The room was spacious, modern and very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We dined at the restaurant last night and the food... More
