Describing Rossnaree House as a B&B does not do it justice. It is a mid-19th century country house, complete with original interior, located in one of the most charming and picturesque country settings I've seen in Ireland - with the river Boyne running next to the house, and Knowth and Newgrange in sight across the river. The owner clearly loves... More

Rossnaree House encompasses the charm, enticement and "craic" that is often alluded to in great Irish literature. Located in the beautiful and historical Meath countryside, Rossnaree holds an air of mysticism and intrigue, like the area that surrounds it. The house is very comfortable and allows you to relax fully. The homely feel is a great attribute of Irish hospitality... More

Not only is Rossnaree a wonderfully welcoming B and B, but the encompassing grounds represent the most picturesque scenery I have ever been surrounded by. The owner could not have been more hospitable, fascinating to talk to, and has such a love for her remarkable home which reflects true Irish character. Everything worked beautifully and was very comfortable. I was... More

A place that can not be truly described through mere words - a must for anyone interested in finding tranquility in the Irish country side. I stayed for two nights with my wife and we both agreed it was the most romantic weekend we have ever spent together!

We only spent a weekend at Rossnaree but I’d love to go back again. The views when you get out of the car at first are incredible, looking straight out at Newgrange, with beautiful untouched green valleys all around you. There is a peacefulness there, despite the bustling family atmosphere, that made me feel so at home. I loved the... More

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Rosnaree with their wonderful host! My wonderful weekend there was full of exploring the countryside and paddling in the river. Although slightly out on its own, I thoroughly enjoyed the peacefulness and beauty of landscape and also the house. Aisling is a terrific host and the accomodation was perfect for us. I... More

Could be wonderful. Not very clean and expensive. Owner very pleasant and helpful but needs to spend a little more time cleaning. Expensive under the circumstances. Sadly, this grand house needs a little more finances to merit the present cost.

What a delight to open the door of the dining room at breakfast time - a fire crackling in the grate of the green drawing room, the polished mahogany dining daintily set, and the breakfast was perfect. The location of this house is stunning and the place is quite magical. The house has a lived in, family feel, a creative... More

We loved Rossnaree. A lovely, rambling home with paintings and sculpture everywhere you looked in the house. A house that reflects that artistic and literary background of Aisling and her past family members. It seemed to me that this was a house that had been and is well loved. We spent four days at Rossnaree in the William Morris Room,... More

Spent our last night in Ireland of eleven at Rossnaree. Rossnare is nicely appionted but is in need of a good cleaning, fresh paint and new carpeting. Upon arrival we killed seven flys in our bedroom and a bee, the inside of the windows were covered in knats, there were siders and spider webs eveywhere. The owner was not present... More
