I stayed for a very enjoyable 3 nights back in June and i couldn't fault Ash Cottage for it's comfortable room overlooking a nice garden in a peaceful part of the town and at very reasonable rates for a solo traveller. The host Peter could not have been more helpful, drawing maps, suggesting lovely reasonable priced restaurants to eat at... More

Great small B&B! Very clean and easy to find! Peter our host was extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating! Very quiet in a nice neighborhood Just a walk away from a pub with wonderful Asian food! Not far from the airport making it a good stay over for your last night! We left very early so we can't offer any comment... More

Great little B&B If you are looking for a no frills B&B that has spotlessly clean accommodation and caters for your basic needs you can't go wrong with this little place.Near the end of a quiet lane with a pub 5 mins from the front door and a great hotel restaurant 10 mins in the other direction. Hosts Byrne and... More

This was our final location in Ireland . The accommodation was average but quite acceptable. The major problem with this location is breakfast in the morning, not that the food was not good, but there are only two tables in the dining room, seating four persons each, and we were four, who also had to head to the Airport first... Hello.Thank you for your review, and glad you enjoyed your holiday.I note your comments regarding seating arrangements. As we have only 5 rooms we have never found any problem with accommodating people for breakfast. We serve normally between 8 and 10,but do serve earlier for people. We agreed with you to serve breakfast at 7.30 but you arrived at 7.55,so others had seated themselves... Ignore any of the negative comments here on tripadvisor, this is a fantastic B&B, we stayed for two nights in the wonderful Family room, a double bed and two single beds comfortable for two adults, a 11 year old and a 14 year old. Breakfast each morning was 5 star. Peter and Nora were wonderful hosts and willing travel advisors.... More

I loved my stay at Ash Cottage and loved the area. The Navan area in Meath was so quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. Peter was a great host. When we got there, he took some time to sit down with us and hand-draw us a map to help us get to places we wanted to go in the area. He also... More

The owners are a lovely couple and very friendly. Without asking they explained to us nearby sights and recommended places to eat. The family room is spacious and clean with an ensuite shower. Breakfast was good too and my children especially enjoyed the scrumbled egg. The b and b is in a nice quiet area. Coming from London it is... More

We enjoyed our short stay at Ash Cottage earlier this month. Peter was very nice and helpful with suggestions of things to do in the area. We wanted to go to the castle, but Peter called them to find out they had already closed. He suggested we go to The Tara Walk which was close by and was absolutely beautiful!... More

What a wonderful experience! We stayed for two nights (May 21-22, 2015). Peter and Nora were gracious hosts and gave great directions to local sights. The room was clean, large and comfortable, an breakfast was great. Otto H.

We spent our last night in Ireland here as we wanted to visit Newgrange and Navan is close enough to the Dublin airport. The B&B was comfortable though a little chilly (the heat seems to be centrally controlled and wasn't turned on until well after we got up in the morning) and was very clean. While it's a bit out...
