My sister and I are on Holiday and after 2 1/2 weeks we were pretty weary! Peter greeted us at the door like an old friend and made us feel completely welcome! Our room was toasty warm and the beds were very comfortable! Great nights sleep all three nights! The bathroom was so clean and and new! In the morning... More

We really enjoyed our stay at Ash Cottage. Peter and Nora were terrific hosts, very friendly and helpful and have that wonderful quality of being chatty, enquiring how our holiday was going and offering advice/tips in answer to any queries we had about the local area. Our stay was at the beginning of March and it was so nice to... More

The room was clean and attractive and the bathroom rather large compared to some of the other bed and breakfast places we stayed at. The hosts were friendly and helpful. We needed an earlier breakfast (they usually start at 8:00) and they were happy to accommodate us. This was an easy driving distance to New Grange and Knowth. Thanks for... More

The room was so clean and cosy also spacious with lovely grounds. Surely... More

We enjoyed our brief stay at Ash Cottage. Clean and cozy, on beautiful grounds. Owners Peter and Nora Byrne were helpful and friendly and cooked a delicious breakfast. We got in fairly late and hungry, and Peter directed us to a pub down the road where the owners serve (of all things) Malaysian food. Good, too.

After a two week trip around Ireland this was our last stop (just the one night). We didn't get to spend much time with Nora, but we had a great takeaway breakfast for our early morning departure. Peter was wonderfully helpful, not only for the call ahead connection to Newgrange - or the directions that were more trustworthy than the... More

Peter and Nora are a wonderful experience and they serve with a great attitude. They are often helping people with "where to go and how to get there". I would recommend this B&B to anyone. John Stewart

Stayed here whilst visiting family in town, and now that there are 5 of us (three boisterous kids) we decided not to stop at their houses. We stayed in the family room and booked an extra room (which was a twin), and was opposite the family room. Both had en-suite shower rooms, and we all had a good night's sleep... More

Good, clean, and pleasant. Just what the weary traveler needs to rest. Within walking distance of a great pub for dinner and stroll. Our room was clean, pleasant and above all, comfortable sleeping arrangements. Peter was a very nice host, the breakfast was great, the atmosphere like home. Never expected such a cozy place just off the main route.
