Great value, great location, the bed could have been a little more comfortable, but the unbelievable breakfast more than made up for it! Such an array of choices. I was especially impressed with the selection of fresh fruit. Great start to the day!

Stayed in this gem of a guesthouse on the night of a wedding in Navan. The decor is really charming and old world. I can imagine the owners attending auctions and lovingly selecting pieces of furniture, some of the pieces are really lovely. Room was a bit on the small side, having said that we managed perfectly well. The breakfast... More

Perfect location for day trips into Dublin, or visits to Tara and Newgrange. The hosts are friendly, knowledgeable and accomodating and the breakfasts are expansive and expertly prepared. The decor is antique in nature, so this might not be the best choice if you have young children. Otherwise it is a comfortable and relaxing place to stay.

My group booked one double and two single rooms here for one night as a convenient stop before visiting Newgrange historic site. We arrived to the delicious smell of freshly baked bread! My wife and I shared a large bedroom below stairs with two double beds. The room was decorated and furnished in a Victorian style and there were antiques... More

We stayed here the night before a wedding in Trim and it was perfect location. The house is really intriguing even if not to my own taste. The couple were really welcoming and I don't know were to even start on the breakfast......it was unbelievable. Really amazing and all freshly made to order. Even the presentation of everything was amazing.... More

Second time to Navan for a months mind. Very unfortunately for ourselves the lovely hotel across the road where we stayed for the funeral was fully booked. The exterior was very pretty with the added welcome of a Rough type Collie dog. This soon changed on the inside with cluttered furniture, dark mahogany skirting & doors. A squeaky stairs led... My sister and I stayed 2 nights. The bedding was stained on my sisters bed and mine had a ripped eiderdown. Having quirky antique beds didn't compensate for the lack of modern duvet and pillows. Excess antiquities on the 2 dressing tables meant one had little room to put out ones personal items without being in danger of breaking the... More

We recently stayed with my family (2 Adults and 2 kids) for 2 nights in Killyon guest house, it was a very enjoyable experience , Rooms were big and beds comfortable ,despite been close to the main road the rooms were very quiet . The owners couldnt have done anymore to make us feel welcome from the late night pot... More

We got double booked and we were left a voice message to tell us. when we rang back, we were basically told that it wasn't their problem and never got an apology or even a polite tone! Turned out our friends were also double booked and were also given the rude tone and told again it wasn't their fault.

A delightfully quirky guesthouse filled with antiques and things collected by the lovely host Michael. If you want a boring characterless room surrounded by white furniture and a tray with packets of tasteless instant beverages for you to make yourself in your own room, then this place is not for you. But if you fancy a tea or a coffee... More
