In December 2014 we stayed at The Newgrange hotel! On arrival we were informed that it was the Christmas period and that the hotel might be a little lively, which is to be expected, but this was an understatement! We were put in a room that also had a function room on the same floor, which was about 50 yards... More

Attended an official function tonight here in the Newgrange, and had stupidly decided to stay over. What an error. This dump is full of nothing but drunken, vomiting, skank. Hen parties have taken over the floor. Drunk & sick before I left for my function @8. Drunk men wander up from the street, to the bedrooms, banging at doors, still... More

Stayed here for a two night stay as we were visiting friends who lived close by. Check in was quick, efficient and welcoming. The rooms need an update as decor is dated, plaster cracked around plugs and very poor lighting. Also asked for a quiet room and was allocated a room across from a function room hosting a 40th Birthday... Car... More

Dear CarlyM22, I was disappointed and confused to read your recent review. Your opening line states that "check-in was quick, efficient and welcoming". Our receptionist on duty was accommodating at all times and also showed interest upon check out regarding your parking issues. Sometimes it is not possible to please customers however at the Newgrange Hotel we are regularly complimented... More

Stayed here for 3 nights in August whilst visiting my son's girlfriend's family. Room was a decent sized family room and clean. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were friendly. Nice little pub attached to the hotel. Good location, hassle free check-in and reasonably priced. Wifi available in the main areas but not in the room. I especially loved the light fittings... More

did lunch here with family and friends at the weekend, while i have to say the food was very good and the staff very pleasant indeed 14euro is a bit over the top for a carvery, deserts are extra, i found it a bit pricey for young families theres better value elsewhere.

Dear meathone, Thank you for your recent review regarding the quality of our carvery lunch however I was disappointed to read your comments regarding the price. Our popular carvery service on a Sunday is quite competitively priced and I am not sure why you did not notice our daily carvery special for only €10 which also includes dessert as it... More

We stayed for one night in September 2014. Warm welcome and easy check-in. Great room, breakfast very good and great selection at buffet. Enjoyed dinner in the bar. Entertainment was also very good. Very friendly staff. We would stay at the Newgrange again!

Had a family gathering in Navan and decided to book into the Newgrange. We stayed in the lounge area all evening. Pint bottles of cider were expensive compared to a lot of other places. However the staff were friendly, place is clean, breakfast was beautiful. Only thing I didnt like was the crowd of drunkards ganging up around the hotel... More
