A friend recommended the Newgrange Hotel's carvery to me a year ago and I've been having lunch there ever since. I find that it's a good reliable place to eat-the price is very reasonable and the portions are generous. There's always plenty of choice on the menu-the turkey and ham is always well cooked, with plenty of veg on the... More

Just glancing through reviews of hotel and came across a recent review saying the carvery was very disappointing . I have to say that 99% of the time I have eaten here the carvery is excellent and I go a couple of times a week. Its also excellent value at €10 for two courses during weekdays. Carvery suits me as... More

I have been having lunch everyday in Newgrange Hotel for almost 1 year and my fiancee 3 years. They have a very good price for a very decent meal which is 10 euros for a carvery lunch including coffee or dessert (Mon to Fridays) which is very competitive. And it is not only cheap, food is cooked on the day... More

Better plan to party, because the music from the ground floor penetrated floor 1 and 2 and came loud and clear into our room on the 3rd (would be the 4th in US). Band played until 12:35 on Sunday night- no event going on, this is the regular bar band). I could follow the lyrics word for word, and beat... More

Stayed here regrettably for only one night last weekend, I wasn't expecting much as it's only a three star but the friendly staff make this a five star for me! As organisor of our class re union I selected the Newgrange because it was so central in the town of Navan, We had our own room for a marvellous meal and full bar service. Many people stayed in the hotel that night and everyone was very pleased with the warm welcome, excellent food and friendly staff.

30 minutes North of Dublin, near the famous Newgrange archeological sites, are the town of Lavan and the in-town Newgrange Hotel.
