We wanted to get away for a mid-week break and many people had told us that Carlingford was a good place to visit. We had tried booking another b&b but things went awry on booking.com This was then recommended to us by the other establishment. Situated at the edge of the village it is a 10 minute walk from the... Our first stay at this lovely residence, just rang the bell and Wendy come to our rescue being able to book us immediately. We stayed three nights in all, with breakfast. This lovely lady was so friendly and inviting no-one would walk away. Beautiful large room with three beds as opposed to the usual two, out of this world bedding... More

My first stay in a B&B and it will definitely not be my last. Went for my birthday and staying one night, 20th June, the host was really pleasant and charming. The room was perfect and the entire B&B was spotless. Our room had everything we needed and more. The gardens of the B&B were gorgeous, relaxing sitting out having... More

This is a lovely guest house in a very nice village in a beautiful part of the world. The guest house is big, sort of looks like a small hotel. Rooms are very cosy and very nicely decorated. It is a very quiet place and the owner lady is very friendly and chatty. I would thoroughly recommend.

The Grove House was our first B&B on our stay in Ireland. We ended up arriving early and wanted to inquire about the possibility of an early check in. The house keeper opened the door and was very rude to us and told us to come back at 4pm. We arrived back at the B&B at 4pm to check in... More

We were warmly welcolmed and ushered up to Room 9 where the view of the mountains was beautiful. A scrupulously clean room and tasteful decor; I've stayed in hotels that were a lot more expensive and nowhere near as nice Breakfast was in abundance and filld us up for the day! A homely B and B which we will return... More

We stayed here on our first night after Dublin. It was a well appointed, roomy and had plenty of room to park which is a premium in many places in Ireland. The breakfast was one that would carry one for the day and tasty. We would stay there again and recommend it highly.

We stayed one night in Grove house - nicely located a little outside of the village. The rooms are nice and clean and fine for a one night stay. The owner however is formidable and almost makes you feel like you're intruding in her home rather than staying in a commercial establishment. Breakfast itself is a solemn affair with everything...
