Just back from a fantastic stay at Shalom, and I will definitely be back. Part of our group stayed in the b&b whilst the remainder of our group stayed in one of the chalets. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, the view from the balcony in the chalet was breathtaking, Jackie the owner greeted us on arrival and made us extremely welcome,... More

Great location just few minutes walk to town. Stunning views with a play park and beautiful garden for kids. Guesthouse itself is spotless, we had the family room (2 single beds and 1 double) loads of room for a family of 4. Owners took us across to underground leprechaun museum and told them stories of leprechauns and fairies., kids were... More

I stayed here for one night. Shalom is only a short walk from Carlingford and is right on the edge of the loch. Great views and the lady of the house made me very welcome. I'd definitely stay here again.

We booked in for 5 nights taking in Hogmanay and New Year. Owner Jackie and Kevin couldn't do enough for us giving us extra blanket, heater and hot water bottle as we found it cold at first as my partner was recovering from flu. The room soon heated up though after we were there a couple of days and we... More

We stayed in this B&B last night and it was fantastic velaue for money. Great and spacious room and one of the most comfortable mattresses we have ever slept on! Well rested for our trip back to Wexford. Breakfast was great also. Owners very friendly and had a great chat with Jackie as we were leaving. Would definately stay here... More

Stayed in the self catering apartments while attending a wedding in a nearby hotel. Couldn't fault anything. The apartment had a double bed and 2 single beds on the ground floor with bathroom and living and kitchen area on the first floor and a balcony with views over Carlingford Lough. Beds very comfortable and whole apartment was spotless. Location was... More

The location of Shalom is lovely as are the rooms which were spotlessly clean. The service was also very friendly and hospitable. There's just a few things that would have made this an excellent stay ... Our showers were cold and the breakfast was quite average - small enough and very limited options.

Very kind people and our room had a heating blanket in the bed and I slept like a baby. Would definitely stay again and love to see them. They also recommended Kevin Woods to us as the Leprachaun Cave is right next to the B&B and we absolutely loved it. We were driving around Ireland and had no idea we... More
