We stayed here in Sept for two nights, the hotel is located just across from the beautiful lough, the staff are so friendly and helpful full of local knowledge, the room was sparkling clean with a view of the mountains to wake up to, the food was very well presented and delicious, breakfast was a delight plenty of everything and... my husband and I got married here in July and couldn't have asked for any more. Caroline, Mairead and the staff made our day everything we could have wanted. We can't thank you both enough. From we came down to meet you until we left after the wedding you could be have done anymore. All of our guests commented on... More

We arrived this town at night so we could not see much. But its location is perfect on the seaside. However, the hotel staff was helpful to direct us to the nice restaurant that was still open, The Magees Bistro. The hotel room was nice and clean and it's worth 63 Euros we paid. Breakfast was good. Somehow we couldn't... More

Stayed in this hotel on business. Rate of 69euro was OK but not great for October. Hotel is located in the lovely village of carlingford with great views. Bar food was good value and the breakfast was very good. Room was very comfortable. Shower would strip skin and fantastic first thing in the morning.

Stayed here with my partner for 2 nights midweek. Apart from the great deal price, I found the hotel well run and clean. The grounds are lovely and the food good. By comparison, I stayed recently at Lough Eske Castle.. Complete shambles, food mediocre and way overpriced, staff incompetent and surly.. This place is way way better at a third... More

Myself , my mother and 2 young children just spent 3 nights here. Absolutely brilliant stay, memories that will last a lifetime. Unbelievably helpful staff, amazing value, 345e for 3 nights , including breakfast and dinner. Food was perfectly adequate, it's probably not going to win a Michelin star but it's PERFECT for families. Nice spacious room... Beware , family... More

We decided spur of the moment to book a night away , on arrival we were checked in by a very efficient receptionist & given directions to our room After a few minutes we decided the room allocated was not to the standard we expected and asked to be moved elsewhere , after a slight hitch with a telephone call... Attended a wedding here at the weekend, and firstly I would like to say a massive thankyou to Caroline who made my auntie (the bride) feel very relaxed in the preparation for her wedding. The staff were lovely at this hotel, extremely helpful and helped us with any issues we had. We stayed in the Mourne Room, which was big... More
