Please ignore all the negative reviews on this regarding this Hotel...We stayed here for a three night break from Sun 14th September , and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our room was lovely spotlessly clean , clean towels everyday, bed was changed during our stay..I cannot say enough about the staff of the Four Seasons, each and everyone of them couldn't have... I stayed here for 2 nights for a conference and the facilities were pretty basic. The rooms are dated but comfortable, and the lunch provided wasn't great. The hotel does have free WiFi and the bar is well stocked. All for £70 a night mid-week I would say is pretty good value. The realy benefit comes when you step outside... More

Stayed here recently when attending a family wedding. We stayed in room 200, nice room overlooking the front of the hotel. Food at the reception was lovely. Breakfast the next morning was also lovely. This is my third stay at the hotel and I notice that the bedrooms must have had a revamp because our room was way more up-to-date... More

When checking in there was no-one at the counter and I had to wait a few minutes to be attended to. The receptionist seemed a little tired but this was late in the evening. I imagine she was nearly finished her shift. The girl checking us out in the morning could have shown a little more interest in what she... More

Attended recent wedding and I must say all was excellent with regards to the welcome, wedding meal, service and beautiful set-up of wedding reception room. Stayed over for 2 nights. Accommodation however was very disappointing. Wheelchair accessible room requested. Beds were very comfortable but room furniture, fittings and bathroom were very tired and dated. Breakfast dining room also dated with... More

At a family wedding, went to check - in ans there were already 4 men in boxers smoking in the room, they argued it was there room. Went to reception to find out what was goin on and we were told the housekeeper let them in by accident, they were a stag party. No apology, nothing!! rooms are over priced,... More

Dear Mario, Thank you for your review. Again can we please apologise once more. As explained via phone and email the gentlemen staying in the rooms had assured one of our house keepers that they had lost their key and she allowed them access to the room, believing in good faith that it was their assigned room, she had just... We have started to look at hotels for our 2016 wedding and have to say Four Seasons, Carlingford is top of the list. The co-ordinator, Caroline, could not have been more helpful. She is obviously very dedicated to her work and the hotel. Nothing is too much trouble and every question we had was answered in the most professional manner.... More

My husband and I stayed for two nights in Carlingford but one night at this hotel. The receptionist staff were friendly and welcoming but stuck rigidly to the 3.00p.m. check in. I have stayed at other hotels and if a room is ready they will let you check in earlier. The hotel room was big and clean. We could not... More
