We spent a night in the hotel for a friend's wedding. Hotel was nice and modern. Food was good at the wedding but breakfast was a bit disappointing. Room (suite) was well appointed but our bathroom had no shower! Just a jacuzzi tub? Staff need some further customer service training to improve service standards as most were very young and... More

my daughter had booked this hotel as a special treat for me and when we entered the room we were so let down ! The valance sheets were filthy and the decor and furniture was sub standard for a 4star hotel.I went to reception and they moved us to the Abbey suite which was a lot better as we had... More

Stayed here last week on a 2 night B&B and 1 evening meal booking. Firstly when we arrived we were told we couldn't use the toilets because the water was turned off and would not be back on until after 3pm. On numerous occasions throughout our stay on returning to the hotel we could not gain access to the corridor... More

This is a lovely mature Hotel. The staff were very friendly, the bedroom clean and perfectly prepared, and the Evening Dinner and Breakfast was of a very good standard in the Restaurant. That's more than you can expect when offered such good value in Accomodation. The added bonus is the beautiful countryside around Carlingford and a good "home" base for... More

Everything was more than satisfactory and would definitely recommend this hotel. I have a tiny gripe about the tv. Why can the hotel not get the channel reception right? No BBC1or ITV or C4. It's 2013 not 1983.

We stayed just one night en route to Belfast. Two adults and three children 5-8 years old. We reserved a family room for the five of us. After reading some of the other reviews we were a little nervous, however, on arrival we had a room with a standard double bed, two standard twin beds and an occasional bed (more... More

2nights B and B @ 139. What can I say. Approached after driving from kildare. Drove in and it all looked fab from the outside. Lovely girl at check-in. Reception itself was inviting. And then it went wrong. The lift was old and seen better days. The walls were battered and chipped. Into the bedroom. My god what a disaster.... More

We got a present of a nights stay with dinner in the Four Seasons Hotel and booked ourselves in last Friday night. When we arrived the receptionist was warm and friendly, after a speedy check-in (no signing of cards stating no drink or food allowed as previous reviewer stated!!) she informed us that we had a lovely room, which indeed... We stayed here on the 17th Jan 2014 as a joint double birthday celebration for myself and my bestie. We were quite excited as we had believed "Four Seasons" meant luxury and 4 star service. We had also got the rate quite cheap so we thought we nailed it! From the outset the building itself looked lovely and the reception... More
