Pro's: The Rooms are clean, bed comfy and clean towels provided for the shower. Breakfast was delicious and well catered for. Ample parking Cons: Staff could be a whole lot more friendly, very rude until they knew I had a reservation. The area outside is very rundown, unkept and untidy - wouldn't take much to tidy it up. They seem... More

I knew my room doesn't have the bathroom but i didn't know i had to share it with other guest and I needed to go downstairs to use bathroom through the reception. I asked stuff to call a taxi for the next day. Cuz my flight was very early. but they forgot it even though iconfirmed that twice.

If you don't want to sleep, and you enjoy being kept awake all night, listening to the hoteliers party till 5am, then this is the place for you! For entertainment, you can shut your door, ( if you have previously turned the knob, this will then lock you out, and the waitress will climb in through the window to let... More

I'd call it a typical B&B, fresh and vastly served breakfast (of course nothing fancy), clean rooms, cleaned everyday with fresh change of towels. If you are looking for a quiet place, not too expensive and close to the airport, that's the place for you.

Glenshandan Lodge is a cozy B&B in the Swords area. The staff and owner a very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast has a few different options. I will definitely stay here the next time I visit Dublin.

We had a great time for 4 days in in Glenshandan Lodge. The beautiful facility and a lovely staff made a familiar atmosphere! The breakfast is excellent. We will come back to stay here again very soon! Thanks so much!

We booked accommodation at this lodge over the internet and luckily I printed a copy of the correspondence to show when we got there as they had not record of our booking even though the proprietor remembered emailing with us. Luckily there was a room still available so we took that. It had two double beds and one single. One... More

Bathroom isnt private and requires having to go down stairs through reception into a bathroom which doesnt have a shower. Bed was uneven and pipes rattled throughout the night. The photos of the room we booked was completely different to the room we were accommodated with. Shame as the staff were friendly!

We received a warm welcome on arrival at Glenshandan and couldn't fault the quality breakfast provided and attentive staff that served us. The only problem we had was the mattresses in room 7. The room itself was large enough for us, a family of four. There is plenty of storage although a little shabby and could do with replacing. The... More
