We stayed at a friends holiday home in Rossnowlagh last weekend and decided to dine both nights in The Smugglers. On the Friday night six of us had dinner which was the best three course meal I have had in ages!! As I live and work in London I am fortunate enough to be able to dine in some lovely... More

Went here on a Thursday night for some food with family and friends. Decor was quite modern but with a local feel to it. Menu was pretty varied and prices were reasonable. I opted for fish and chips and other people had the scampi. The food came within a reasonable time and the portions were really generous and well presented.... More

Visited with two friends for lunch on Friday. Very warm greeting from staff. They started by offering us a small sample of their Donegal ale before we purchased a pint. Great variety on the menu and the food was fresh and very tasty. Despite being busy the staff remained calm, attentive and friendly taking the time to have some banter... More

Still as good as it was 10 years ago, excellent friendly attentive service. Excellent food, varied menu. Stayed overnight, small room, comfortable with a great view. Well worth a visit. Totally disagree with reviewer who thought it was poor service

We booked well in advance for a post birthday celebration, whilst we were over on holiday we had friends with us who had never been to Smuggler's before.....it didn't disappoint! We were seated where the views are fantastic! Service was great and the food was amazing! Everything tasted wonderful, not one of our party of 7 complained about anything! The... More

We were in Donegal for a couple of days and went out of our way to find the Smugglers creek because it was recommended by a friend who ate there a couple of years ago. We arrived around lunchtime on Wednesday 21st August. No restaurant staff were present despite 2 other couples already sitting at tables, waiting to be served.... More

I stayed in Smugglers Creek Inn this August for one night while on a visit to Donegal. The managers and staff were very professional and so warm and welcoming during my short stay - they definitely know how to put the customer first in Smugglers Creek Inn. Thanks again to all of them for making me feel at home. The... More

This place is a cosy pub/restaurant that you can really relax in and the food is fabulous! I brought friends here in April and they loved it. Unfortunately my steak was over cooked and by the time my new steak was ready my friends had finished their dinner. In saying that the staff were very apologetic and took my meal... More

I have been coming here every year since I was a child - I am now 27! I have seen it change hands so many times and sampled every menu. The draw has always been the incredible view and the friendly and accommodating staff, the food has always been good rather than exceptional. I went for dinner with my grandmother... More
