Visited Smugglers Creek today for my Birthday lunch. A beautiful location and setting. A friendly relaxed service greeted us which was lovely. My husband ordered the burger and I ordered the salmon, I have to say it was the best salmon meal I have ever had! The basil mash was fab and the dressed leaves finished it off a treat.... More

We stayed in the cottage for one night. Basic but very comfortable. Bar is very quaint and is great for tourists. We had lunch and dinner in the bar. For dinner I had the well reviewed scampi and claws. It was the best scampi I have ever happened. I would go back just to have the scampi. Breakfast the next... More

Stayed here for two nights with my wife as a treat on our trip along the wild atlantic way. The location is lovely. Great view from the restaurant and nice food - well for dinner anyway. As somewhere to stay though I would not recommend it. Very noisy and basic. Breakfast was also poor. The reception from staff was adequate... More

Had Sunday lunch here, lovely food massive portions. We went before some of family were leaving for some time away so it was a bit loud for such an occasion with the bar woman standing infront of the tv screaming at the Donegal game. A once off I'm sure.

I have always loved the setting for the Bar and Restaurant. I ordered the seafood chowder which is one of my favourite things, so disappointed looked lovely but wastotally tasteless, there was fish in it but no taste of fish at all, very disappointed. Did mention this to the waitress who said she would tell the chef just hope she... More

We visited here for lunch, beautiful setting and nice atmosphere. You need a table at the window to experience it at its best. Food was good and desserts even better. Staff were very friendly. Nice place to sit and relax with a cup of tea on a chilled afternoon.

Visited rossnowlagh for a weekend in June. Went to smugglers twice it was that good, beautiful location especially when the sun shines . Went for dinner on the Saturday night, given a table right at the window. The food was fantastic and the personalised service is a credit to the restaurant . Food was served within 15 minutes and the... More

I went to smugglers on Wednesday 1st July& it was one of the best nights I have experienced. I went with a big group(15)& we were served quickly with smiley faces and the food was nice. The bar man (Sean Boyle) was a legand and I talked to him into the early hours. All round excellent!
