My wife and I had booked a two night stay here in November 2008, to commence 20-3-09 and received e-mail confirmation of our booking with a deposit debited. We arrived on Friday 20th at 4pm, the place looked quiet,very quiet ; it was in fact locked up and completely deserted, not what we expected ,especially after a three hour drive.... more

We only ended up here as we booked last minute for the traditional and folk music festival that is on over the Irish Bank Holiday. We wouldn't stay at Heron's cove again for that, purely because it was not within walking distance of the town centre. While the web site made this place look worth that bit extra, the reality was something different. The bedroom cost 70 euro pps per night.
