My brother and I shared a room on 25 and 26 July. We had a great view of the ocean. Excellent breakfast and lunch/dinner. We hiked the clifftop walk to Ballyshannon, and even risked the waves for some middle- aged surfing... On returning home I noticed what appeared to be an overcharge on our bill. Anthony checked the figures and... More

We were warmly greeted (by name!) by Anthony and Pauline. We couldn't have asked for better weather which made the most of the most perfect setting above Rossnowlagh beach with views over the Donegal mountains to one side and out to the Atlantic on the other. There are slight negatives - the rooms are a little dated and I'm not... More

Just returned from a great weekend in Rossnowlagh. Our hosts, Pauline and Anthony were brilliant. Fantastic food (highly recommend the surf & turf), service and good craic. Will definitely return. Absolutely worth a visit!

"This is not a b&b its an inn" we were told by the owner to justify music and general noise going on until about 12.30 at night when we stayed here last Saturday night. He added "you can up and leave if you don't like it"!!!. Although it was late and I had come here with my pregnant sister and... More

I booked a seaview room as the location of this BnB is fabulous and I was going on others' recommendations. My seaview (for 10 € more) was out the side of the building and you only had this view if you stood in the doorway of the bathroom. Also I was emailed several times for my time of arrival and... We spent September 1st at Ardnamara B&B and had a wonderful evening in spite of the rain. Anthony told us we had a "view to die" for and he wasn't kidding. We had the best ocean view and could sit on the window seat and watch the surfers. Had a great bowl of fish chowder, our first in Ireland and... More

I booked 2 nights stay for myself, my wife and our 2 young children (ages 3 and 5), the main thing that attracted us was the B&B's description of a 'very large family room'. On arrival there was a double and single bed in a fairly small room, the lack of a 3rd bed caused my young son some concern.... More
