I was here for a relatives confirmation lunch. We picked from a set menu. I chose the mussels and the penne pasta dish. The food arrived relatively fast and was delicious. The garlic mussels were really to die for! For dessert I had the Raspberry Brownie cheesecake which was also very nice indeed. Service was a small bit slow but... More

Dropped in for lunch well impressed with their extensive menu decided on the open crab sandwich and my buddy Tom had the meat platter both of which were delicious, well presented with excellent service from the warm friendly staff, coffee top up was a nice touch too. Lovely comfortable well kept location.

I had never heard of the place but was pleasantly suprised with the choice on the early bird menu. I had the fish trio which melted in my mouth it was so tasty and the cheesecake was lovely. We had an issue about the recipt we were overcharged for something by mistake but the waitress was very kind and got... More

I've been eating in the Bosun for many years and after a bad meal at Xmas and an ok meal this week I feel it's not what it once was. The food was good but not anything special. The fish was swimming in a butter sauce. The vegetarian penne pasta, while generous in portion size was very bland. The chicken... More

I was in that Bosun recently for dinner and was very impressed. The food was fantastic - we had fantastic seafood starters and steak for mains. High quality and generous portions. I would definitely recommend a visit.

As I live fairly near this Restaurant/ Bar I frequently dine there as it is one of these places that you can just walk into without booking in the bar / Restaurant ares It never fails to please a very good and varied menu with plenty of choices I don't think I ever had a bad meal in the Bosun

This is a great spot for lunch on the way to the ferry on ringaskiddy - great meals at lunch time, friendly service and you can park your car outside and keep an eye on it from the front of the restaurant. Nice kids meals including coloring while you wait. Fish menu - ++++

I was in this small hotel for a business trip, although the room was quite small, the comfort was good. It's outdated, but everything’s functional. The breakfast was awesome, had the scrambled egg's with salmon, freshly brewed coffee and fresh juice. The restaurant "next" door offers a variety of (local) food & draft beers. For sure I will go back... More

Decided to book a table in the restaurant and from start to finish we were not disappointed. Greeted by a very friendly waiter who took our order from the Sunday lunch menu which was €30 for three courses excellent value. We all ordered our three courses and have to say the food was served promptly, we were not waiting around.... More
