If you are looking for a B&B in the Cork area, we would highly recommend Ardfield Farmhouse. A country setting with a breathtaking view of the Irish countryside and plenty of peace and quiet. Bernadette really takes excellent care of her guests including tea and biscuits upon arrival. The breakfast menu included many cook to order options and was delicious.... More

My son and I enjoyed every minute at Ardfield and with lovely host Bernadette! Bernadette took care of even the smallest things and the breakfast was a real hit! I don't remember having such a breakfast in the last years... Would recommend tourists driving in Ireland to rent a JPS together with the car! You'll be surprised how helpful it... More

Bernadette is such a wonderful hostess, welcoming us with tea and pastries upon arrival. We called because we were running late for check-in, and she said that was no problem at all. Being on the property is like living a dream, beautiful surroundings and friendly animals. She also gave us a wonderful suggestion for dinner at a restaurant just down... More

This was my second visit to Ardfield, and just as wonderful as our first visit 4 years ago. Bernadette was so lovely, and put our family in the same room my daughter and I had our last visit. The breakfasts were delicious, and i so enjoyed my chats with Bernadette. Such beautiful surroundings, I would stay there again in a... More

A lovely B and B with the most spectacular views high on a hill near the Village of Ballinhassig. We were welcomed by Billy the horse and of course our gracious host Bernadette who brought us homemade cookies and tea served on the patio. We enjoyed looking at the flowers and their other horses and some foals. The local restaurant... More

We arrived in the area and had lunch at a great place called "the Corner" We asked the waiter if he knew this B&B and he told us he did and gave us verbal directions. We followed his directions and had a rough time finding it, up on the hill. When we finally arrived we were greeted by a woman... More

Ardfield B&B is a very homey & welcoming little place tucked away in the hills of Ballinhassig, Co. Cork. Bernadette and Eddie were very hospitable and made you feel at home the minute you arrived. Their animals (3 small dogs and a horse out in front named Billy) were very well trained and extremely friendly. If you walk further up... More

We arrived late to the B&B, having had dinner reservations at a restaurant outside of Cork nowhere near Ballinhassig. We called the owner ahead of time letting her know we'd be arriving late. It was dark and raining as we left the restaurant and we chose to take the main roads through Cork as we were unfamiliar with the area... More

Yes, Billy the pony was there to greet us as we arrived at Ardfield Farmhouse. The view from in front of the house is breathtaking... A real photo opportunity. It is high up on a hill overlooking the countryside and many farms. Ardfield is a working horse farm with beautiful horses to view. We were immediately greeted by Bernadette, our... More

This place is just wonderful! My friend and I were going to Cork but saw how large it was (a full on city) and were actually glad this place wasn't in Cork like we thought it was (it was booked for us by AAA). It was a little hard to find (we were still trying to work our GPS out)... More
