We stayed at this lovely B&B in June when travelling around Cork. We used it as our base while we visited Fota, Kinsale and Carrigaline. The staff were very friendly and our room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was delicious and with under a minute's walk to the village with plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby. We came across Whispering Pines when looking for a few nights holiday accommodation whilst touring the Cork area. First impressions were good, pleasant atmosphere with a really genuine friendly Irish welcome and very helpful staff. The rooms were spacious, clean and well furnished. I would not recommend staying here unless you are an angler or have no other options available which we had not.We were in Crosshaven on a business project which had to take place on a particular date and other accommodations were full. I stayed in this B&B recently and I can honestly say it was the worst place I have encountered in a long, long time The man who checked me in acted as if he had never dealt with guests before. This hotel is ideally suited to boat anglers visiting Ireland. Well placed for transfers from Cork airport which the hotel arranges with thier own mini-coach.
