Had an exceptional stay at the Glenwood with hosts, Adrian and Noelle, just before our wedding in September 2015. They were both amazing in looking after all of our guests even though we essentially took over the guesthouse. Noelle, your canape's on the eve of our wedding were delicious and the use of the guesthouse for our pre-wedding family gathering... More

We stayed for 2 nights in Sep 2015 whilst attending a family wedding in nearby Cork City. I would say that this is one of the nicest B&B's I have stayed at in Ireland. Very friendly owners, who produced an excellent breakfast each morning ;-) Very handy for Cork Airport, less than 15 minutes drive via a quiet road.

This is by far the best B&B style place I've ever stayed in. It has amazing facilities, even better than some hotels and the staff are fantastic. You get a real homie vibe and neighbourly chat. Have stayed twice before and can see myself staying again if needed.

Adrian and Noelle have created something very special here. Lovely people, lots of the food they served they have made themselves, or grown and made themselves. Nothing was too much trouble, which was particularly vital for me, as they hosted our wedding party, with me being the best man. Rooms were absolutely spotless too. Very quiet.

Top class. Lovely welcome from Adrian who runs a very good show here. B/fast is as good as it gets. An ideal location for those wishing to explore Cork city or Kinsale and West Cork. A few mins stroll from the village of Carrigaline. ( bus stop 2 mins for those not wanting to drive to the city) ps Make... More

Went to the Redhead Convention 2015 in Crosshaven and found Glenwood House the perfect place to stay. Noelle and Adrian are lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The room was very clean, wonderful breakfast to kick start the day, together with a fresh 2 course supper when required Good quiet location for buses and taxis. Thank you, Barbara

I stayed here while on a week long yoga training course. It was just the place I needed. Beautiful quiet rooms, comfy bed, powerful shower and a fabulous freshly cooked breakfast each morning. Oh and wifi in the rooms! Can't forget that. I was very satisfied with my room. The highlight was the breakfast each morning. Home made bread, home... More

If you are staying in Carrigaline or even near Cork and don't stay at Glenwood House, you are simply cheating yourself. The proprietor Adrien is the kindest, most helpful and accommodating man I've ever met. My friend and I were genuinely sad to be leaving at the end of the week, and I'm certain we will be back. A few... More
