Stayed Feb '16 for one night on business. Room was nice size and warm, looked clean but had a fusty smell. The "restaurant" is in a separate building and the food was extremely poor quality. ( I had the chowder) bar staff and front desk staff were ok but not friendly. Wifi in room was free but you couldn't connect... More

Stayed here last week. My hotel room was lovely. Staff were very helpful & breakfast was great. I went to the restaurant for dinner. The food was absolutely gorgous. I couldn't fault this place. I really enjoyed my stay. Great price.

Finding this place will be a job. Based on €60 per night inc breakfast. This is a cheap place and don't expect The Ritz. My room had no central heating. There was a plug in heater. The room was cold. The bed felt damp and cold. You could hear everything the person in the next room was doing. If your... More

Fantastic venue for my daughters christening, staff extremely friendly especially Jez the barman ! Food was beautiful and the location was just perfect, will definitely return here for future family / friends events. Highly recommended from Cynon and all the crew from Wales.

I arrived at the hotel at just after 6pm after attending a course in the NMCI, it was dark and the road inside the gate was very dark, there are severe speed bumps which aren't marked or visible clearly at night, there was no street lights and the layout of the hotel was poor. I parked my car in the... More

Booked a one night stay with Lidl Breaks the hotel is a little stale could do with a make over. Staff were very nice. Breakfast very good. Room clean but could hear a lot of sound from next door. The high light of our stay was dinner in the golf club, it was very good and great value. I ordered... More

We stayed for one night in August 2015. The accommodation was basic but OK. The rooms are separate to the golf club house, a bit dated and look unchanged since built. It was convenient as we were attending a function nearby. We didn't do breakfast.

I've stayed here on several locations and highly recommend it, great location, great rooms, great staff. The clubhouse restaurant is also worth a visit, the food there is the best around and very reasonably priced.

after an impressive drive through the grounds we came upon a shed like building which we then realised it was the "hotel" Only two sockets in the room had to move around the beds to plug anything in. Cant walk after sleeping in the awful bed which also made noise all night long. Flithy carpets in the room and hallways.... More
