Myself and my cousin undertook a Road Trip from Tyrone to Cork in July on this year. Our last leg of the journey was from Glengarriff to Ballycotton. We stayed at the Sunville and this was our last night of the Road Trip. Although it was a little difficult to find first the establishment when we did Anna and Paddy... More

We were gated by the owners who were very nice. Our room was very nice with beautiful views. We were given afternoon tea and the scones were delicious. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. The owners were very helpful when finding a place for dinner, even calling the restaurants for open hours.

Had the pleasure of staying here for 3 nights in July. This is a gem of a guest house. I don't write a lot of reviews on trip advisor but as a result of reading a recent review on Sunville Guest House referring it to be very ordinary, I felt the need to tell the real story. This is far... More

Fabulous stay at Sunville House in beautiful Balleycotton! Hosts so very friendly and helpful. Clean, comfortable room, and fantastic breakfast. A perfect start to our first trip to Ireland! Only disappointed we did not allow more time there.

The welcome with fresh scones, tea and local information was great. Rooms were large, clean, and neat. In addition, We could use two other large and comfortable rooms: a living room and a glassed in sun room. There was a bit of noise from people arriving late or leaving early. But nothing that disturbed us. The price was right for... More

Too far off beaten track.Difficult drive back from town on skinny road after dinner in the town. Pretty ordinary place, furniture dated. Please someone recheck these ratings for B&B's as they are far below standard and very disappointing.

I stayed here for a night in July. The owners were very helpful from the time we arrived. The rooms were clean and a spacious ensuite. The breakfast we got was nicer than any I have got in most hotels- fresh fruit, cereals, scones and a choice of hot breakfasts. It was a little hard to find but we used... More

We spent the night en route from Cork airport to Kenmare and were met with tea and delicious home-made lemon cake on arrival. Paddy gave us the lowdown on where to eat in the evening and we really appreciated having a comfortable lounge to use while our daughter settled down to sleep in the family-sized bedroom, which was equally homely.... We stayed here on a last minute trip to Ballycotton. The owners couldn't have been nicer or more welcoming. We received a fabulous breakfast (I meant to get the brown bread recipe!) and were dropped into town the following day. Thanks for a wonderful stay and we hope to be back some day!
