We have been visiting the Bayview Hotel in Ballycotton for many years and we keep returning. The location is stunning and whether it is on a sunny summer day or a stormy evening the views over the bay are superb. The rooms are clean and very comfy. The staff are extremely friendly. The hotel closes in Winter so early in... More

We had a very enjoyable 2 night stay at this lovely hotel situated overlooking the little harbour and lighthouse. Staff were all very happy at their work, the bedroom we had was on the second floor overlooking the bay, bed was so gloriously comfy, enjoyed a great night's sleep almost missed breakfast - and what a breakfast it was! Very... More

Ok, first off the location as far as I'm concerned is breath taking. The views are stunning and the hotel is worth a visit on this basis alone. Staff are extremely helpful and polite as would be expected. However, this is where the good story ends. The hotel smells awful, an almost stale smell which unfortunately remains throughout and into... More

We had booked a holiday cottage in Ballandreen /www.ownersdirect.co.uk/ireland/IR252. The place was a disgrace so we found ourselves needing a well priced comfortable hotel nearby. From the very beginning of our contact with the hotel it was superb, very sympathetic and understanding our situation and most importantly offered a brilliant solution. Nina who was on reception that evening saw to... More

My sister and I shared a twin room on 2nd floorfor ond night. Great view over the bay. The room was spacious and beds comfortable. We ate in the bar for dinner as restaurant not open. Food was good with plenty on our plates. Bar not best with dim lighting but service and food excellent.

We stayed in this lovely family run hotel last night. We needed a break as I'm recovering from surgery. The setting is perfect. The Pier may be viewed from front facing rooms (on the first floor). We required a ground floor room and we got a lovely double Bay window'd room. Tea making facilities. The usual toiletries etc. I have... More

We took a trip for two weeks to Ireland and stayed here while visiting Cork. It was 20 minutes to drive to the city but worth staying in this region and driving. My bed was nice and comfortable and the food was delicious. The decor was a little dated but I personally prefer that in an old manor house. Makes... More

This hotel is a geared for people really wanting to get away from it all. It is decorated in a classic style, a typical country house feel. Staff are superb and very helpful - that applied to everyone we encountered. Stayed several days and also had several meals in the hotel. Food was excellent, The breakfasts consist of nicely stocked... More
