Stayed for a couple of nights recently . This is a gem of a hotel with the rooms facing the sea so what views and the sound of the waves nothing better. The bar food is ok didn't eat in the restaurant and breakfast was fine service here left a little to be desired !! Use the sister hotels pool... More

This hotel is in the heart of the small village of Ballycotton, perfect to slow down the pace and just relax. The view of the Bay and Harbor are beautiful especially at sunset. A stay here will give you access to the spa and health suit in their sister hotel across the bay. (~8 min drive). Rooms well sized, clean... More

Ate at the Bayview on recommendation from a friend. Food was very average, with the very fatty pork belly costing almost €19 and coming with no accompanying side dish, save some red cabbage on which it rested on the plate. Even our server agreed that it was unusual not to get a side dish, and said it had been commented... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night recently and we had purchased a deal package which included 1 night stay, with a bottle of bubbles and breakfast. The hotel is in a nice remote location. Ballycotton is a small fishing village, so this spot is nice to get some quiet nad slow down the pace. Check in was... More

We stayed at this hotel for a family reunion in July 2014. The hotel isn't modern and trendy it is more quaint and traditional which is definitely suited to the area. The rooms are a very good size with comfortable beds and decent showers. Breakfast is outstanding, their scones are to die for. There is a huge selection including fresh... More

We received a very warm welcome at reception and despite being quite full , the staff greeted us by name the following morning! The rooms were spacious and had wonderful views out to sea.Everything was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The food was excellent both at lunch and breakfast.I particularly appreciated the stewed rhubarb at breakfast! There really was everything you... More

we stayed here for two nights, as soon as we parked the car and seen the outdoor terrace dining area and the view of the harbour we knew we were onto a winner, this was followed by extremely friendly receptionist staff, waiting staff were very pleasant and friendly and more than willing and happy to help with any special requests.... It is nearly 11 months to the day we vowed to return to the beautiful Bayview Hotel in enchanting East Cork and here we are ensconced in our super cosy sea view room with balcony - sheer Bliss! I promised then to write a review in 2013 but somehow time passed by and the memories faded just enough for me... More

Came here on a dealrush voucher 160 euro for 2 nights and well worth it. The room and hotel are gorgeous, all rooms have sea view. The setting is fabulous. The breakfast is very tasty and made to order I highly recommend the salmon and scrambled eggs. The only reason it is not getting 5 stars is because of the... More
