We stayed here for one night with half a full house. The pros: cheap, central location, & super clean! The cons: We had the twin room which was faces the road and the window vibrates every time a car drives by!!! Super soft beds, only 1 bath & toilet which gets very busy in the morning. Tip: Bonus supermarket is... More

This was my second visit to the Guest house. The first time my mother and I were all alone on the second floor. This time it was full to the gills. We still had a great time and were grateful for a super clean facility, well appointed kitchen and nice linens. It is nice when traveling with mixed company to... More

1 night in this guesthouse in a not a so nice building but all 1st floor has been fully fitted for receiving visitors (kitchen, showers, lounge ...) It is very clean, and staff is ready to advise, support ... You will have the choice to ask for bed linen or to sleep in your sleeping bag according to your budget.... More

this was easily the best guesthouse or hostel we used across iceland. Large rooms, spacious common areas, excelleng kitchen and dining area, spic and span, very helpful staff. It was by far better than all other hostels.

I enjoyed staying here. We stayed in a room with one bed and a bunk bed. It was very comfortable and the room was nice and spacious. Theres a kitchen with everything you need to cook and a fridge/freezer to store your items. The dining area is great and everything was really clean. You even have to take your shoes... More

I really liked the guy running this place. We drove through some nasty weather, and stopped here before taking on "the gnarly road" in the morning that connects the east coast to the north. Our room had a queen bed and a bunk bed, which was nice, because i got the queen and got to spread out. The common areas... More

Used this place just for a night for a stop over whilst doing the ring road. It was immaculate inside and looked recently refurbished and rooms were of a generous size. Also good amenities for self catering (cooker etc). In the centre of town and easy to find. We ate in the gas station across the road from it and... More

We've made our booking through booking.com and noticed that the check-in time is between 4pm and 9pm. The fine print also states that guests expected to arrive beyond 10pm are requested to inform the management in advance. To be safe, I had informed the management in advance of the possible late check-in at 9.30pm. However, no one was there when... More

Centrally located in the "big city" of the east: bank, supermarket and a gas station nearby. The guesthouse is clean, roomy and modern. The rooms are large enough with large windows and good heating. Well equipped kitchen but a bit small if you are not the only one in the mood for some cooking. They don't provide breakfast but you... More

The first thing you MUST know is that check-in is 4PM. We can't recall seeing that anywhere. We thought the place had gone out of business and almost left to find other place to sleep. They need to state check-in time on their site and on their front door because no one is there to let you in before 4PM..... More
