We stayed for two nights on our tour around Iceland.
Nice hotel with freindly staff. The reastaurant were ok, but not the best we tried on our tour.
The room was clean but a litlle worn.

Three of us travelled to the Myvatn area in search of the Northern Lights. The area truly was our own winter wonderland, with spectacular panoramas perfect for hiking and cross country skiing. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and in the 2.5 days we were in Myvatn we didn't stop! The local nature baths are an absolute must, and...

Although the rooms and hotel were quite average, we enjoyed being here because the staff were friendly and helpful. The walls were a bit thin as we could hear when people were unlocking/locking the room next door. The hotel is situated across from the pseudo craters so this was interesting to visit. We saw the northern lights on both nights...

The food is...

When we arrived, one of the owners was at the front desk and she was incredibly helpful in both making our stay comfortable and in giving advice about what we could see and do during the limited daylight hours. Not only were her suggestions spot on, but...

Our hotel room was basic but it good enough for 1 night stay and it was cozy with a nice view of the lake. The staff was very friendly and helped us track the Northern Lights and also helped us find our if our whale watching trip was still going out the next morning when we were checking out. The...
