Last stop of Cosmos Tours of Greece before heading back to Athens. The hotel is just ok for a nite's rest. Go by the back of hotel to the shops and restaurants. Open air swimming pool is located on the 6th floor. The 3rd and last dinner included by Cosmos was the best compared to the previous 2 especially dessert.... More

I agree with others that the hotel is tired - both inside and out. However, I found it to be clean and reasonably comfortable. My disappointment came at 'feeding time' when as there were a couple of other tours in at the same time, it became like a feeding frenzy. Not everyone is willing to queue and the noise was... More

The first thing I would say about this hotel is that if you are considering staying there DON'T do it!!! There are many much better establishments in the town. A the title suggests I think this hotel is way past its best. It is old in appearance and style both in its public areas and rooms. When I first entered... More

It is big hotel in the center of Kalambaka. Rooms are dated and wifi is terrible. Bathroom is very old and you can see one of the photos. The view is great! The village is full of religious paraphernalia.

Stayed here during a Cosmos tour. Worst hotel I have encountered in 6 guided coach tours. Sesame seeds and salt on and in bed sheets. Shower terrible. I don't expect reception staff to wear uniforms, but they should nor be as scruffy as this lot.

We stayed at this hotel as part of a tour to Meteora. First off, I must say the people of Kalambaka were some of the nicest that we encountered during our stay in Greece. Unfortunately, this hotel is shabby and in need of work. There were cobwebs in the corner and dead bugs on our floors. Our curtains were falling... More

Ordinary hotel experience, dated rooms and furniture, some water through vents dripping going on. Buffet style service at the restaurant. Food average and tolerable. Rooms clean and quiet. Nothing extremely great, neither extremely horrible. Average stay, ordinary service, and decent location. Okay option.

Everything is extremely dated apart from the hotel lobby which is really nice. Wifi was also good. There are horrible carpets and some of the areas desperately require repainting of the walls. Bed spread looked ancient but pillow cases and sheets were clean. There was a low level humming noise coming from the air con vents even though I never... More

We arrived in Kalambaka beneath the stunning monoliths and monasteries of Meteora on a searingly hot July day desperate for a swim in the hotel's advertised rooftop pool to find it was not available - actually it was empty and remained so for the duration. When I tried to log on to the internet, it would only work downstairs in... More

I just checked out of the hotel. The beautiful facade hides the old rooms. Shower stalls are missing a panel and room is seriously ageing. Fortunately, this was just a stopover to Meteora. I will give this place a miss. Other than that, wifi in lobby and restaurant are free.
