After reading reviews on Trip Advisor I was concerned about what we might find. I had made the reservations before I read Trip Advisor. Some friends had made the recommendation. We had absolutely no problems at all. It made me wonder if the TA reviews were for the same hotel. The staff at the front desk were very nice and... More

Orfeas is in prime location if you're planning to visit Meteora and it is situated in town so it's walking distance from a strip of shops, bars, restaurants, and cafes. It's location and the mountain view from our room are the only positive things to note. Otherwise, our room was dated and a bit dingy. The beds are tough, the... More

There is not much alternatives when you will go to Meteora. The hotel has been arranged by my travel agent. The room is good enough for 1 night stay although it is old, not much choice for breakfast but it can hold my hunger. in overall, average for the remote city.

Good - Dinner (Buffet) Bad - No English, shower, noise (pipes, air cons, people) trouble with Wi Fi, called reception no help. I would stay somewhere else if I were you. We stayed here as part of a coach tour

We travelled to Kalambaka on a tour to Meteora booked through Air Transat. The Divani hotel (first class) across the street was booked so our only other option was the Orfeas. When we were allocated a room in what was an old unrenovated section, we could hardly believe the room! The room was shabby and the old carpet curled at... More

After days of touring around the Peloponnese we stay a night to visit Meteora's monasteries. Walking distance in main street to drink a beer and walk down. Quality of food was good, wifi range, small room but clean.

Meteora is fantastic, but for the price we were hoping for a little more luxury. Small family room and balcony, poor quality breakfast and wifi didn't stretch to bedroom. Having said that the location was great, the reception staff were helpful, and the kids loved the pool.

While this hotel has obviously seen better days it is accurately rated ad 3 star. The food is adequate but plenty is provided. Unfortunately, our detachable shower head could not be returned to its bracket and there was no provision of a toaster at breakfast. There is no doubt the hotel needs some work, but not all hotels are 5star... More

We spent a night here while on a tour of Meteora. The tour company booked the hotel for us. It was the most disappointing night we had in Greece. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, and we enjoyed them. We ate dinner and breakfast there, and both meals were just adequate. Nothing special, and somewhat tasteless. The rooms were... More
