It seems no one cares about running this hotel. We didn't see anyone else staying there, even at breakfast (horrible). The swimming pool wasn't working. More

Actually the reason we chose this hotel was mainly its price and location:. Howeveri it was more than that. The satff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially the gentleman at the desk tried to do his best to help us; he gave all the possible instructions for us so that we could get the best pleasure to get to the... I traveled with my husband in mid-June 2011 as a stopover to Meteora. We loved this lovely small town-Kalampaka very much and would like to recommend everyone to stay here if he/she wants to visit the monasteries. Hotel Eldelweiss locates in center of Kalampaka. It offers easy access to the squares, train station, bus station and restaurants and bars. As... More

it' s a very good hotel , next to the city center . It's a quite and comfortable hotel and it provides many facilities to their customers such as free parking , there's also a swimming pool and a very beautiful view at Meteora . The stuff is also very friendly More

Dreadfully hard hard beds, pillows like bricks. Great view of Meteora rocks from balcony but would be hard to avoid in this town! Paid 50 euros for double incl breakfast which was fine. More

We stayed here for three nights in July - we had two rooms on the top floor with the biggest terraces, I mean really HUGE, from which we could see almost 360 degrees. All the rooms have nice balconies, but guess we were just lucky to have these two rooms - it was not quite high season. The rooms had... More

We went to Meteora on October 2008 which is becoming a major travel destination. Foreign travelers usually visit it on prearranged tours while nationals go on their own mainly as a pilgrimage trip. No doubt that this is a unique and wonderful place. Unfortunately, there are only two towns really close to the monasteries and the significant part of the... More

We stayed in Edelweiss in June 2008 for three nights. As we had come to Meteora to see the beautiful cliffs and visit the monasteries, we didn't spend much time in the hotel. In the morning we had breakfast there. It is not rich, but you also won't be starving: yogurt, bread, eggs, cheese (1 kind), sausages, jam ( tasty!),... More

We had an overnight stay as part of a tour of Greece and our first impression was that it was dated but clean. Our first floor room was in need of decoration and had stains from old leaks from the aircon unit down one wall. The bathroom was small, but did the job. The evening meal was served as a... More

Age:21 Group: Boy Friend/Girl Friend Length: 2 Nights The Hotel Edelweisse was the best hotel I experianced while being in Europe for two weeks. The location in this small town was perfect. Right on the main drag but set back about 150 feet or so in one of the towns mainy beautiful squars. The Hotel itself was spotllessly clean, and... More
